  2. For the third time - can anyone confirm for Jay and I whether you need a CAMS license? (as in get a document so I can prove to my supplier for sure). Sumfatchin - you could pretty much get it 1/3 - 1/4 the price from the right place compared to hardware store Benm - who you looking at doing group buy in sydney? (Just to see if it works here too)
  3. Am not racing at Jamboree now, due to a lack of funds. Need to get a rear camber kit in as soon as possible. The extent of this need was discovered last t&t when I had to resort to generous tire warming in the burnout pits before a few runs in order to amuse myself and compensate for the slow times due to excessive wheel spin - we drove home with legal tread on one side of the tire and metal band on the other...

  5. Man, that is the cheapest I have ever heard of....he really does have love in his heart. Is it cheaper if you don't take the skid pan part? Will be there, have to hurry up and get the front coil overs rebuilt soon then! (or else I may falling off the road every now and then). Shot gun behind you slip...uh, on the run that is.

  7. Seems that way, as now he is saying all purchasers need to have a CAMS license, and all BP servos have told me that I have to take my CAMS license to the BP depot (the ones who have heard of toluene that is). I agree 200L drum would be the way to go...anyone got prices? where to buy?
  8. why not save money and just do 3" dump with high flow cat instead of replacing whole exhaust? Or is Apexi N1 system just to cat?

Buy 100% toluene and mix it down...like getting cordial, the more concentrate, the more brews you can make I dunno what is with your suppliers, but here in QLD, we can get 20L of Toluene for $42 in good grade...have tried up to 30% and it's still running strong. Is it true for you guys down south that whilst getting it from a BP depot, you didn't need at CAMS license?

  16. what does 125 mean? Is it 125 psi out? (obivously not) or 125 ml/min leaking? What units is it measured in?
  17. I think you'll find more people recommend redline oil than mobile 1 A mechanic is not good because he says "use mobile 1" - would have guessed a good mechanic would say use what ever meets your required specs .
  18. lol......guess mine will go bang soon running 16 psi. Steve if your max is 12, then you wouldn't see drop, mine peaks at 16 and then drops back to 13...in that case, the theory makes sense
  19. Though Turbos are why quieter coz the turbine wheel 'smashes' the sound from the manifold and the sound is muffled by having to get thru turbine wheel. Simply just like shutting the door to a room of loud music, the sound waves bounce off or are absorbed.
  20. Any tried the 1 bar HKS wastegate actuator to fix this problem? Has it helped? Standard turbo dropping from 16 psi back to 13 psi. Have FMIC and PFC so I don't think it's the I/C Also trying to work out if it's leaky BOV, Boost controller (manual now) or wastegate actuator.
