i'm thinking of going to bed early and getting up at 5-6am when the car parks may be a little less full on? is it just me or is this a good idea or another stupid one? lol

yeah i saw that commercial as well, sounds interesting I may check it out. last xmas i brought a battery drift car on eBay for $90bucks as i didn't know if i'd get into the hobby much or use it or not etc. going the cheap version to start with was a good idea for me as i know now i wouldn't use it enough to spend top dollar on a good one. if i go to this place tomorrow i'll just be picking up spare batteries etc. but i still think my 90dollar buy was the best xmas present i've ever brought myself

oh and yeah man, suck balls about your car i'm out and about all weekend i'll be keeping your numberplate details on my dash. hope it all works out!

you guys gotta check out valet! its the only place at crown i park..the way i figure it, normal pedestrians/public cannot really steal these cars cause they are in a section that comes in and out of the valet guys, and the staff are always up and down to and from the cars all night. not only that but it makes you feel like money getting the line brought to you while 50 people are standing in the taxi queue in envy

I'm so upset i can't be there right now!...just finished work - i hate that they are always on a tuesday! How'd it go? did i miss anything? or win anything??

i hate that these meetings are always on a tuesday!...but i'll do my best to make it, even if i am a little late? it'll be my first as well can i still get food at 8.10pm during the meeting or does food have to be before the talking?? otherwise i'll grab some takeaway on my way thanks

no dramas, it means i'll get a game again we'll have 7 this week, anyone else unavailable let me know this'll be the last game before the break, then we'll have a good 4 weeks to recover cheers.

Yesterday I was in a side street off Bridge Road where I parked, and headed down the road to a bar for lunch. On my return, a lady on a balcony above where i parked yelled for my attention, and informed me a car just hit mine while they attempted to park. It only happened less than a minute before i arrived, as her husband was on the way down the stairs to leave a note on my window. They told the offender what he had done, but he ignored them and drove off in a hurry. I asked which way did he go, and they said right onto Bridge rd, so Darren and I got in the car (Darren is a 2 metre tall thug) and we went chasing the red toyota camery! Well, i was watching for traffic on Bridge road and Darren spotted the car down another side street so he jumped out as I backed up and tried to get down the street. Lucky we had the numberplate, the offender was still in his car, trying to park, when Darren the giant appoached him! Geez i would have hated that, and i think the dude was shitting himself but when i turned up my adrenaline was racing i didn't know what to say. He goes, oh sorry i didn't even realise. BULL S#!T he was told! He was quick to offer his license though i'm sure he wouldn't have wanted trouble i could have sworn darren was about to unleash some whoopass and i wish he had of i was sooo pissed ofF! So thats really the end of my story, nothing exciting happened after that just some photos and got the guys details. But i just wanted to share and say i'm so thankful and happy there are some lovely people in this world who went out of their way to say something to this guy as he hit me, and took the details and passed it onto me! I got his number as well so i'll have to follow up with a real nice thank you christmas card or something the couple were lovely and i wish there were more people like them. Cheers!

weekdays are pretty tough for me as well, but if you're looking for weekend court time often stadiums have space after all their rep ball training finishes sunday so late sunday afternoons usually work ok. No chance you'll find anything anywhere saturday, this is when all the juniors play all day long most stadiums are packed full all day. or if any of you have tuesday lunch times off we have a social game happening here which is definately worth your time it is so much fun, pm me if you're interested.

nice game fellas, hope you had fun!? if you're quick, the game log is on the bottom of the waverleybasketball.com website otherwise, pm me i can get it on .pdf file if your that keen...it's pretty cool being digital, you can track your games, stats, foul and score averages, high score margins, scope out the opposition etc etc thanks for prompt payment, that covers you for the rest of the season for registration and insurance. Now the only cost you'll have is the weekly door entry and the score sheet is $30 for the game for the whole team.. So divide that by $5.00 each player and you'll start building a kitty 5 bucks a week - towards tops or end of season cruise, beer or something... speaking of tops, lets leave that subject alone until next year, it's xmas everybody's gotta do shopping. keep them, bring them each week, i'll see what else i can order and find but if we want to order more individually for the reversable type pm me after our other 6'2 player jumps on board, i'll jump off and nickr33 will become the new manager/rep for you guys. ring me in as an emergency if you like that was awesome fun, but yeah, we'll keep you posted with details. next weeks game is an early one, 6.30pm. if you can't make it, make sure to let me know! cheers, thanks, ciao

guys, i've been flat out at work and away from the forums for a bit. here's the run down. Wear Black Shorts Tops will be provided, we can work out details later If you have a black or red official basketball uniform bring it just in case we're short Bring $15.00 to cover registration, insurance for the rest of the season and the game just for the night. ALTERNATIVELY...if you dont want to be like everyone else and have a boring pocket ... my old setup before i got double din, was a piece of clear or fogged perspex, and then you put a sticker on it (lettering, numberplate, your name, or shopping list of a brand or something etc) and then paint it black or grey or depending on your dash. Then peel the sticker off and your left with a semi see through whatever, and just put in a neon behind the perspex and it looks hawt imo. I had interchangable pieces, and a little LED set up that changed ways to flash and glow and chase etc behind it in blue which matched everything nicely. hopefully the pic included comes out alright, i've still got these sitting around unused if you want one, or any, or multiple and i got a heap of perspex available as well if you are metro melbourne? anybody else reading this if you want offcuts of perspex pm me i got too much it's all going in the rubbish bin before christmas cheers, shanus

I've found another player keen for a game. I told him to be part of the team he needs to buy a skyline lol He can along Wednesday as well unless you guys have friends that really want to play - hopefully some big bodys!? so far we have 4 regulars, 1 emergency and new guy Brett if you guys are fine with that? so if Nickr33 brings down 1 more, that's a regular 6. as its an SAU team i haven't confirmed with new guy yet so if sau ppl want to get involved you will have preference. it would be best to have a regular 7 team members and 1 emergency (me), so what i'm saying is... Alright sportsfans there's a spot opened up at Waverley on Wednesday nights in CRS grade due to a team pulling out!! Entry fee would be heavily discounted and you guys would be paying registraton and insurance for $6.00 each and a bond is required for all new teams as well. Soo if you want this off the ground, i can get everybody a game next Wednesday night 10th December at 8.00pm on court 3!? Each player is to bring $15, that'll cover scoresheet and rego and insurance, and the bond we can work out later. The shirts are all organised as well, i have a set of reversible black and red ones. But i think the set only has 6 shirts in the so if you want to play and you have a red or black basketball top bring it along just in case! I need confirmation numbers so I know if there will be a game on or if we dont have enough numbers i'll need to contact the opposition and let them know there's no game. Unfortunately all the stadiums run summer and winter comps... so our next season will be april as well. The current summer season is into round 10, but a team has just pulled out of wednesday night and there is a space. One team has already enquired about taking this space but if it falls through, what say an SAUVIC team is created? That would be pretty sweet, but I couldn't play haha as I already play so I wouldn't create the team but can help you get into the comp if you really want? For all the individuals keen just to join an existing team, all i can do is take your details and pass them on, so you'll have to pm me everything about yourself and a contact, or find me under 'contact us' at the website and drop me a line at work. Hey thanks Drew. It's a weekender only, i've got an '08 falcon as my daily. i wish i could have gone straight from cosmetic to performance and kept going and still keep going, but i brought a house so i haven't touched the car for 12 months which means the answer is no, unfortunately no performance upgrades as for being pulled over...police dont have any reason to pull me over; i drive lovely all the time!? so i don't know yet, in 6 years of owning the car (1 yr standard, 2 1/2 yrs headturner, 2 years in the 'over the top' state its in) i haven't ever been pulled over but thanks for jinksing me pal hehehe
