  1. too much boooooooost
  2. yeah i've already replaced one that split, a real short one that comes straight out of the side of the engine and yeah i had to take the starter out to get at it, but there are some ridiculous ones like that one that goes around the head. and even taking the starter out you can only get one hand up there which makes it tough for clamps not sitting in the right position to get it i'm not really up for taking the whole plenum off to do it i've taken half the plenum off the rb30 to get at the injectors and it's a bit of a flamin mongrel of a job, and i don't have the space to leave the car over night without a plenum $300ish~ i can live with Thanks ps. sup predator, dunno if you remember me you sourced me some cheap suspension from bursons for my r31 a few years ago. i was paveway on the r31skylinesclub forums.
  3. Come on, someone must have am idea...
  4. it's not even the government that is proposing it.. it was proposed to the government and will just be another one of those retarded things that will disappear out of the news by the end of the week
  5. hey mate, do you have the speaker grill that goes with that passenger side door trim? is so i'll take the trim also do you have the trim that goes around the din/aircon control/ashtray etc?
  6. doesn't sound like he knows what a sump plug is
  7. i have all the coolant hoses bar the heater hoses, i have attempted to change these and this is probably the first job i can't do myself. it's going to take me like a day to do 1 or 2 hoses. need a mech to just lift the engine and replace the hoses in what i am thinking should only be 1 day or less.. so i'm asking, has anyone had these replaced by a mechanic? what i am trying to find out is what kind of labour hours are we talking here? Thanks.
  8. i was talking about this just today with a mate, i want something that i don't need to replace injectors and would just get some kind of piggy back tune rather than replacing ecu's and shit. rather than highflowing a stock turbo, i'd rather something that has similar response as the stock turbo which for me is for an rb20 turbo. highflowing = lag imo
  9. just touch it up, won't make a difference once you get it fixed properly by a panel beater there is no magical fix, and don't be a cheap flamin mongrel
  10. hey not sure where to put this topic but i'm sure someone can help here. i have a new defi BF water temp gauge and defi link II arriving very soon, i know i need to get the adapter to go into the feedback hose to the radiator i need to know what size i should be getting for an rb20det and also will any brand of adaptor fit any sensor etc
  11. omg! they have the internet on computers now?
  12. congrats, you wanted cheap shit and you got it
  13. hey mate, i'm after the speaker grills out of the doors pm sent
  14. this post is common sense put a 5 speed gearbox behind it, or do you only have an auto license? (lol)
  15. you've done the rears... spend some time and work out how to make it fit. all a shop is going to do is tell you, you need spacers. don't pay the chump tax

  18. ok so my car has like a blotchy water stain all over it, it sits outside etc. when it's cleaned it looks good but when you look along the roof of something you can still see the dots and blotches kinda thing all over it like it hasn't been dried. except obviously it doesn't come off with a normal wash anyone know how i can get rid of this other than a cut and polish?
  19. chick has taste
  20. sounds like you should just get some 20" chromies from bob jane so the habibs at maccas give you kudos
  21. lol why don't you grow some nuts and get the good looking rims you want (which ssr are) instead of worry about what your missus thinks? unless it's half her car aswell or something?
  22. thats the "front bar support assembly"
  23. haha why do you care about stock looking intercooler piping? if you're in a position where a cop is looking under the bonnet of your car, you're f**ked. trust type M kits are bar and plate, and mount well onto the car. but you don't get retarded 'return' flow piping
  24. go easy, he is a VL driver
