  1. i've been using the project mu b-specs now for a few months these are pretty good brake pads i must say, i don't know what you'd need to be doing to get them to fade on the street but it would need to be something pretty crazy really good initial bite i've been to the track with them and they were fine, though it was pissing down with rain so wouldn't have gotten up to any crazy temps dust wise they dust up your wheels pretty heavily and they make no noise, though i did have a squeal for a couple of weeks after the track day just before the car would come to stop, but thats gone. good pads imo
  2. toyo proxes 4 vs 595ss verdicts anyone? is the slight extra paid for the proxes worth it?
  3. first of all, are these 2 tyres in a similar price bracket? i'm guessing they are arong the same range i have a price for the 595's, wondering what kind of cash you're up for for 17" 235/215 in the toyo's so which one is the better performing tyre? thanks
  4. Has anyone got any places in Brisbane these days that selling the vertx bodykit copies at a reasonable price. ie. not dmd at $440 for a rear bar i'm after a rear bar. Thanks.

  6. sorry i was rushing when i posted, it was a manifold gasket leak but anyway, turns out it wasn't the gasket. the nut on the stud right at the end near cylinder 1 where the leak was, was loose like finger loose so thank f**k for that
  7. ok so i have an exhaust manifold leak, just the ticking sound i can see where it's leaking on top of the manifold at the front. i'm going to get it fixed in a few weeks i was wondering if there is any kind of sealant i can buy to seal over the hole just for a couple of weeks, i just had a look at supercrap and they have this stuff that can form a gasket in a tube, but i don't know if thats the right stuff. thanks.
  8. can't beat decent jap coilovers.
  9. i bought all the coolant hoses that run around the back of the engine and under the plenum, not the heater or radiator hoses though they set me back about $340 which is for 7 hoses i think the 3 heater hoses are about $200 you can't do much else except get genuine because they are moulded items so you can't just whip down to supercheap and get some hose because it won't last.
  10. nah mate, i want to get it done properly you let a mechanic paint your car?
  11. is it just me or is there no address anywhere on ERD's website? sup strik3r (it's pave here)
  12. Hi Has anyone had any rust removed from their panels recently? i've got a spot forming right next to the rear windscreen on the C pillar because the seal around the window is shagged if anyone can share the price they paid/were quoted for repair. Thanks.
  13. pretty sure you need an aftermarket ECU to run the z32 afm..
  14. lol you have to get a body kit engineered in VIC? post some pics, i'm keen to see how this turned out
  15. sorry for old thread revive, but it's better than making a new one if hole 1 is the filler hole and hole 2 is the breather hole, then where is the draining hold located?
  16. do yourself a favour and don't get a spoiler
  17. Just for my clarity, is there another way to buy the bearing already inside some kind of hub setup similar to the rear? i've rang a couple of bearing places and burson's and they all want $140 - $175 a side.
  18. can someone shed some light for me (possibly wiht pics) on what the deal is with these? when you buy the 'bearing kids', what exactly do you get? is it just literally the roller bearing? or is it a new hub assembly? Thanks
  19. I Think i need to replace some wheel bearings, highish pitched humming/whirring noise that gets louder the quicker i go. could also be drive shaft maybe but thats for another thread so what is involved with replacing the wheel bearings? i thought it was just a case of getting the bearings out and pressing new ones in? is there a difference between front and rear? Thanks.
  20. has anyone heard anything from this guy? been a week since i posted and pm'd and haven't heard a thing
  21. haha yeah can't hang around in r31's forever
  22. mate mccormacks in sandgate i've had fixed there: a) deep scratch and dent from a kid on a bike hitting the rear left guard with the end of the handle bars on his bike b) someone reversed into the front drivers side quarter just in front of the door c) full front bar refurb and front left quarter panel from a minor fender bender and i am about to go back to get rust fixed next to the rear wind screen on the C pillar that i f**king spotted 2 days after i got it back the last time they do a f**kin awesome job, my car has a custom colour too (blue pearl on black) they cost more than your average shit flamin mongrel, but they don't ring you up 2 days after you drop it off telling you you'll need to pay $xxx more. when they quote it's for the whole job, not to suck you in. absolute professionals.
