  5. Does anyone have or can point me in the right direction to get hold of the wiring diagrams for the 1993 R33 GTSt door solenoids and interior control unit ? This is in regards to fitting an immobiliser with alarm. The engine wiring side of this installation has been worked out so I just need the interior diagrams in some kind of useable form. Yes I have searched SAU, meggala and Skylineowners forums, I cant get the NZ or UK manuals, also searched the net cant get those either and they are probably engine only anyway like everything else I have seen . I'm happy to $pay for this info as I know its hard to get hold of.
  6. I have no official stats on these tips but thought the half tank thing made sense. If it is a repost it has travelled around as I got this passed on from a friend in Canada.
  7. These tips are worth considering if you want to maximise your fuel bill Only buy or fill up your car or bike in the early morning when the ground temperature is still cold. Remember that all service stations have their storage tanks buried below ground. The colder the ground the more dense the fuel, when it gets warmer petrol expands. So, buying in the afternoon or in the evening, your litre is not exactly a litre. In the petroleum business, the specific gravity and the temperature play an important role. 1 degree rise in temperature is a big deal for this business. But the service stationsdo not have temperature compensation at the pumps. Another most important tip is to fill up when your tank is HALF FULL. The reason for this is, the more fuel you have in your tank the less is the air occupying its empty space. Petrol evaporates faster than you can imagine. Another useful information is to avoid filling up if there is a fuel truck pumping into the storage tanks when you stop to buy. Most likely the petrol/diesel is being stirred up as the fuel is being delivered, and you might pick up some of the dirt thatnormallysettles on the bottom. Hope this will help you get the most value for your money.

  12. Yeah when these gimps want to race by getting into my rear personal space I just cruise on the speed limit and smile. Its more satisfying thinking well they will never know if they are quicker as opposed to them finding out and me blowing my license.
  13. Just Jap outside of Sydney stocks Kakimoto, I recently got the cat back R33 version. Find them here http://justjap.com/store/manufacturers.php?manufacturerid=24
  14. People who think that just because they can afford to own a car this automatically endowes them with the skill needed to get 100% performance out of the car and then proceed to show everyone how wrong they are.
  15. I once made the mistake of parking my old VL Commodore on the street, this appealed to some heroes on a friday night who decided to throw a wheelie bin onto the roof scratching the paint and leaving a nice dent. My Skyline sleeps behind 7 ft double padlocked gates and I'm still worried about it . Hope the insurance comes through for you Go 33 !
  16. Not sure about the three month thing but make sure you have the Consumer Information Notice document prior to re registering.
