Slight deviation from the topic. I dont even live in Melbourne but visit twice a year and well Ford taxi drivers who drive in 90 zones doing 110 with only two fingers on the bottom of the steering wheel to control the car scares the crap out of me for some reason
When you cruise down a main street looking at the hundreds of cars passing by and think that you dont desire a single one of them unless you see another Skyline that is more modded than yours.
When you cruise around knowing that you own something unique and built for performance from the ground up not something made special with some add-ons and a name change.
I would like to see Scotland and Germany where my family originates, Canada to catch up with my friend over there, get back to New Zealand and see Japan as it has me fascinated. Oh and run my car on a real track which I dont have here
I had my last car (VL Commodore) for 11 years and I hope to have my R33 for a long time. What will your ride be in 5 - 10 years time ? Will it be your current Skyline with heavy mods and running 11s or will you upgrade to a R34 GTR (if you dont already have one) or will it be something completely different ?
What gets me is approaching every intersection or roundabout wondering if I'm going to make it through without a) standing on the brakes b) filling out an accident report at the cop station or c) being revived in the back of an ambulance because having a half decent car has attracted every w*nker in a 250 meter radius to show me their lack of driving skills first hand.
I use Shell vpower and never let the tank get below half. I've heard so many reports about bad/contaminated fuel I dont trust any company but I have to fill my car up somewhere lol.
