I've done it in other cars twice before. It's just fiddly things like making mdf spacers that seal 100% and sound deadening the doors. Running all the wires and stuff also takes ages. Oh well. It's been fun

<rant> Have spent the past 2 days installing DD HU, amp, new speakers, Window Motors and Door Actuators, rearview camera and window tint. what a f**king massive job. Definitely would not do again </rant> But seriously, for what you could pay a good shop to do it, would be a much better alternative. I reckon i have spent 20 hours on this plus time for buying the parts online etc

I have had my CD player die, drivers side door lock and passenger side window, all within 2 weeks. Shit happens with cars, you just have to fix it and remember you're driving an awesome car when it's all done

19" Rims 19X9.5 And/10.5/11
NORBY replied to V(35)Powarh!'s topic in VQ Series - V35, V36 & Infiniti
imo meisters are the most overrated rims especially for the cost -
Haha. As an ex magna owner I can say there's a lot of wankers around. I had a 100% stock looking one that made 190.3kw at the front wheels and it was the fastest non turbo one in Australia. I always had other owners try and go me and I would just laugh at them

I sent you a PM with my issues, but regarding costs i paid $1000 importer fee ~$2,600 freight ~$2.200 compliance rego, etc etc
-
yeah thats the place i was talking about also. I thought the quality of the few cars i looked at weren't great for the price but that was 4 months ago so i would imagine its new stock now so take it as a grain of salt.
-
Thats the place, although i found the guy super unhelpful. Maybe if you were going to buy from him he may be better. I wish i went through IREV the guys i used weren't great Im still fixing their mistakes / lazyness now

Paints pretty good, although mine has the factory aero kit so im pretty sure it hasnt been painted by anyone but nissan. Tbh there isnt many import yards, theres a place on scorsby road bayswater.... i cant think of the name. Otherwise check out import revolution which are in the area also, they can advise if any customers are selling cars etc.
