Thought I would post up my thoughts from my last track day on Wednesday @ the QR sprints Previously every track day I have been to in my V35 I have always left the car in D mode with the PWR button pressed as the triptronic mode was far too laggy to be of any use I recently had the transgo shift kit installed and was interested to see what sort of a difference it would make I found that there were some pros and cons when it comes to trying to get your quickest time with the shift kit fitted compared to stock The kit was good in the fact that I could drive the car like a manual in triprtonic mode and actually benefit from some sort of engine braking + the shifts happened for the most part in triptronic mode when I wanted them to unlike how the auto box behaves when its stock I also managed to shave .16 off my best lap time however the improvement is somewhat on the small side that it could be attributed to a number of factors other than the shift kit The negative, although I considered it more fun than negative was that the harder/faster shifts turned the car into a powerslide machine if I wasn't careful or more so if I wanted it to when shifting from 2nd to 3rd. This was with 245 Toyo R888 semi slicks on the back not so good for lap times however I'm half keen to take the car to a Friday night drift session with some stocko 17's on the back given how easy it was to slide with the semi slicks on Don't forget I am running an LSD unlike 99.999% of the other auto V35s out there

FS Sydney, BMW Style 66 rims with new semi slick hankook z221 Hi all, I have my semi slick tyres and rims for sale, they are off a BMW, but who knows, maybe they are of some use to some of you. They are a style 66 BMW rim, the M sport ones in the following sizes: 17x9 et 26 17x8 et 20 Front tyres are 225 45 17 Rear tyres are 255 40 17 They were on my track car ONLY for rolling it in and out of the garage, 1 photo shoot out the front of my house, 1 push on trailer with a dyno run. They have never been used on the road. Only reason I am selling because I have sold my car and I have moved to Japan, so I have no use for them in any way, and my parents arent happy with the storage space they are taking up. They are a set, I dont want to strip tyres from wheels as thats a hassle for my parents to do. So they are up for grabs $1200. For people who know what hankook rs-3s are, this is a good price for virtually 4 brand new tyres which include rims. Rrp for these things is $300+ each

Toyo R1R 255/35/18 x 4 $250ono Hi all Cleaning out the garage and have 4 x Toyo R1R tyres for sale - they are 255/35/18. They spent 18 months or so on my old R32 GTR and saw approx 1000km of road driving and 1 track day at SMSP south. VOLK RAYS ENGINEERING 57D 17x9+12 - Luminious Orange - with NITTO Semis Hey guys, selling a set of 4x RAYS ENGINEERING 57D GramLIGHTS, 17x9+12, Luminous Orange colour. These have been used for a couple track days and have a few chips/marks from tyre fitting on a couple of them, but otherwise in excellent condition. So I bought a few sets of A050 softs from tilton only to realise that one set should last me the remainder of the year. So im putting the rest of them up for sale. The tyres im selling are the set used to set the winning lap of last years WTAC and as such have only done 4-5 laps so 90% tread left. the 2 front tyres have a small blister that will wear away after a session. Offloading some tyres. Perfect for anyone wanting to do some practise days/shakedowns or just some cheap semis for the odd trackday. They have been stored correctly.
