  1. some wild clashes there boys!! I used to come across a few bogans when I was younger (probably from being on the road at all hours of the morning) but these days whenever I come across them, I pull up to the lights with them, wind down my window and give them the "Colgate" smile (see below)..........must be my extraordinarily good looks because they generally go on their merry way Funnily enough I never have those issues when I'm on the bike (perception is an amazing thing)........they must hear me before seeing me because the road ahead is always clear. On a couple of occasions I've even had the odd car virtually pull over to let me through as though I was an ambulance
  2. yeah no probz Luke.........leave a trader rating bro
  3. got any graphs?
  4. yeah we used to deal with Tighe Eng many years ago when I was still at Adelaide Eng, so I've considered going with one of his grinds as opposed to alot of the Jap stuff out there. Good thing about them is that they don't just grind a second hand cam then end up with undersize lobes that have gone through the hardening process but instead they either start with a new billett or build up the lobes first. I find that alot of the jap grinds aren't really considering the average Joe that needs to drive to work through peak hour. Sometimes I wish I still had access to our cam grinder and all the various masters that we had cupboards full of.
  5. ahh ok.......sounds like an Ivan Tighe grind. I thought you may have been running a Poncam, HKS or similar cause they all run bigger overlaps than stockies
  6. was that the one in NSW Kahli where the young fella and his mate took the old man's r34 out.......SK told me about that on the phone last night.
  7. thanks steve, I actually found that item. Now just have to talk Andrew into taking over his home on a Port home match day when his wife is at the footy
  8. :laughing-smiley-014: ha,ha.....you're probably right deano.......they were only love taps compared to this one Black Ice II EDIT: Imagine being a passenger in the back seat of that bus.......sea sick anyone

  11. hey Andrew.....have you been able to find any info on single turbo GTR's?
  12. sounds like you've had some fun there. How was the overlap reduced from stock........by gear adjustment or by grind?
  13. hey Joel.....did you have to retard the exh gear to compensate and bring the power curve back to the left? I'm abit confused, cause even though 9mm is not huge lift, when I went to school, bigger overlaps always caused a shift in rpm in a northerly direction.......maybe it's more to do with your tune than the cams cause I always thought that better response is not generally a side effect of bigger overlaps
  14. is stock suspension still available..........please PM only
  15. has anyone out there got any stock suspension for a 33 or 34 left over from a recent upgrade that they no longer need? mainly looking for the top mounts please.
  16. yeah thats a good point
  17. lol, black is is what your tyres feel not what you see.....explanation below: "Black ice, also known as "glare ice" or "clear ice," typically refers to a thin coating of glazed ice on a surface, often a roadway. While not truly black, it is transparent, allowing the usually-black asphalt/macadam roadway to be seen through it, hence the term. It is unusually slick compared to other forms of roadway ice. Because it contains relatively little entrapped air in the form of bubbles, black ice is transparent and thus very difficult to see (as compared to snow, frozen slush). In addition, it often is interleaved with wet road, which is identical in appearance. For this reason it is especially hazardous when driving or walking because it is both hard to see and unexpectedly slick. Bridges and overpasses can be especially dangerous. Black ice forms first on bridges and overpasses because air can circulate both above and below the surface of the elevated roadway, causing the pavement temperature to drop more rapidly. This is often indicated with "Bridge May Be Icy" warning signs. Black ice may form even when the ambient temperature is several degrees above the NTP freezing point of water (0°C) if the air warms suddenly after a prolonged cold spell that leaves the surface of the roadway well below the freezing point temperature. The term black ice is sometimes used to describe any type of ice that forms on roadways, even when standing water on roads turns to ice as the temperature falls below freezing."
