yeah that helps heaps Tom, I reckon I'll lay off the experimenting with the ISO and make sure I get the aperture & shutter right for night shots and maybe up the ISO to 200 or 400 for day shots with the faster shutters.
Don't know if you have much experience with the canon stuff but I've been looking at upgrading my 350D to the 450D........can you justify the extra $$ for the 40D or even the 5D or would the 450D for the $$ suffice. Don't tell me to look at Nikon because I have a stack of Canon lenses that cost me a fortune!!
EDIT: Just read your last post, might have to wait for an answer when you get back.
Hey Richard, sorry to resurrect such an old thread but I'm hoping either you or a good tuner here can help me out.
I understand the injector correction value from 440cc to 700cc Sards = 63%. The latency/lag appears to be listed as .65ms in most places but .96ms here?:

Also running Nismo AFM's which have same size body as STD GTR but higher resolution, maybe similar to the 80mm Z32's..........so would I select the Z32 option in the PFC or select "other" & calculate the voltage settings manually.......if "other" do you have a list of voltages to give us a start with.
Thanks in advance for your help.
Hey Tom, I noticed you didn't manually adjust your white balance on the longer exposure shots (which probably isn't really an issue on night shots) but your ISO and large aperture seem fairly constant at 100 & f3.6. Do you always manually use those settings with low values for night shots when using long exposures........the pic of Luke's (Heslo) car looks so sharp. If so, in what scenarios at night with longer exposures would you close the aperture & increase the sensitivty..........I'm guessing you wouldn' get that sharp look if you closed the aperture & upped the sensitivity anymore?
thats wierd isn't it....I wonder if that's more the exception than the rule....what happens to the bits when they do fly apart then?
One theory could be that due to the cam overlap the bits make their way through the inlet then straight out of the exh valve before the bits get combusted.....poor cats if that is the case!
I hear ya Ryan.....mine wasn't too bad in that department when I did the hills run with my mates 4WD Porsche & Maserati but I double hear ya on the fuel issue!!
sounds good scott......just be carefull if you're planning on running 1bar boost on ceramic wheels......it's not the the turbo dying that you have to worry about but the bits they may find their way into the combustion chambers
Ha, ha yeah it was good to catch up briefly with you & Ben (grim32) .........and the friendly cabbie that was desperate to get his chocky bar & thought I might pinch his parking space!!
huh?? Someone correct me if I'm wrong but that fuel map looks like its all over the place.
I'm assuming the bottom graph is AFR's & not boost pressure & therefore should be alot flatter.....anywhere between 11.5 - 12.2 depending on your preference.
Careful, careful.....I might hold ya to that!!
I have to do mine in the morning because of a mates wedding tomorrow arvo otherwise I'd probably join you
yeah I understand all that but when you have to flog a couple of lemons early before retirement it's not much consolation. I've reduced my tax rate down as much as possible by turning everything back over into the company and drawing the bare minimum wage....I can't do anymore in that department.
The other advantage of having the company purchase property is that you can minimze exceeding the Land Tax threshold where it can get pretty expensive......and thats a fee of thousands of $$ every year......the downside of company purchase is when you sell because tax is calculated on 100% of the profit not 50%.
Hey salad, I'd be keen to get some feedback on the QFM pads which appear to be the 'A1RM' going by your specs......ie. dusty, noise, fade, rotor wear, bite factor.
yeah you don't want to get me started on that subject cause I might turn green .....oops, wrong sort of green
you work your guts all your life so you can retire early one day without relying on govt handouts and all they want to do is take it away from you.
What the hell is stamp duty on your principal place of residence for!!!!!
If I buy a $750K house (which is not alot in a good suburb these days) how much stamp duty do you reckon I pay....and its not even a rental!!
QLD slug the same stamp duty for rental but nowhere near as much if you live in it......no wonder everyone's left SA!!
So they take it from you in Stamp Duty then they want a monster cut of your rental profit when you sell (Tax on 50% of the profit or tax on 100% if you're a company).
If that's not enough, you should see my land tax bills because their tax threshhold are ancient......based on the average price of a house approx $350K (you're lucky to buy a block of land for that amount)!!
They're killing me.
I hear what you're saying chops. I reckon you'll find the ADR that comes from DOTARS in Canberra is one of the most stringest testing procedures in the world. I attached a PDF file with pages & pages of info earlier in this thread which I think includes various testing procedures that aren't even used overseas. So having said that, any helmet or piece of equipment with our little chrome sticker on it has been to hell & back!
That my friend is the epitomy of a GOON......Hoon is too nicer word for that young 21yr old punk....and he's definitely not an car enthusiast!!
The little twirp was bragging about 150kph in a 70kph zone with his poofy pink & yellow 33 GTR!
If he drove near my kids like that he'd be asking for a slap
hey I just got onto the tail end of this lol.......are there peeps on here offering to clean our ride cause my bike is a mess at the moment & I'm not looking forward to cleaning it.
yeah some good stuff on there Steve.....even SK gets in on the act.
I just got thru searching info on the EBC pads & the manufacturers themselves recommend that you dont use Greenstuff for anything over 200hp but instead use the Redstuff 3000 series.......Yellowstuff & Bluestuff are pretty much track only.
EBC Brakes
Here is this years record holder on a particular section of the Targa using Yellowstuff:
I like paying company tax!
I don't mind paying GST, I get to claim it back & it beats the old sales tax system!!
I hate paying group tax!!!
I really hate paying capital gains tax!!!!
