  1. LOL, GOLD! ^^^
  2. LOL Damo, don't get him started!
  3. Hey Carl, check some vids of George St Pierre (The Rush)....you probably already have, lol. I've always loved the likes of BJ Penn (a lot of heart for a small guy) but George is something else.
  4. Dave won't receive a summons for "speed dangerous" (even though it's warranted for 45kph over). The $600 fine, 6 demerit points & 6 mths loss of licence is actually a very good outcome for the cops. I advised Dave to return the cops phone call immediately (to make their life easier) without any admission which is what they want from you when they ring. For them to serve him a "speed dangerous" now, it would tie up the courts and further govt expense for possibly not necesarily a better outcome than they have on the table now. There have been lawyers that have argued the "proof of driver" deal before and although the "speed dangerous" is then dropped, they still result in loss of licence & fines. If Dave on the other hand said, "yeah that was me driving", he'd expect another visit me thinks.........whenever you are 45kph over, you'll always get a phone call or visit 1st for that very reason.
  5. This should be in the computer thread for future reference I suppose but I've got the Netgear DG834N....how do they fair in relation to Billion & Belkin Abe?
  6. lol, me too Carl! The guy is a machine, absolute epitomy of a street fighter with zero fear. I've seen a video of him where he annihilated a so called "technical fighter" who branded Kimbo a thug with no style just minutes before he had his skull split in two...they don't call him the "slice" for nothing! (and that aint the vanilla variety, lol).
  7. That was 3 days ago (Sat night).....started at Southgate, 1/2 way at Castle Plaza and finished at Gepps Cross. It was Grant Zipple's cruise. I got an invite but was way too hot to be riding an air cooled bike, otherwise I would've joined all the other US Customs.......maybe next time. Grant regularly gets 300 or more Customs on his cruises and NEVER gets hassled by cops.......the ONLY cruisers in SA that the cops respect.
  8. An invisible voting poll will be set up next week in the form of a new thread in the member's section Steve. In the meantime, we're encouraging members to nominate other members, with their permission (or yourselves for that matter) in the thread that Andrew created today. You can put your names down for any position whatsoever.
  9. it's called probable cause (suspicion) which will alow them to search any part of your car without a warrant as long as they don't start dismantling (need warrant for that). they usually use the contraband or weapon excuse to go to town on your car without your permission.
  10. you gonna be there tonight Steve? I'm catching up with a few mates at O'Halloran Hill Buongiornos tonight for a feed and may do Brighton and the Bay esplanades on the bike aroung 10 ish. Would be good to catch up for a drink at the Espy Hotel.
  11. oh well, hopefully the chance you took doesn't turn and bite you in the ass....goodluck again.
  12. It's called a conundrum, lol. Seriously, why do people hand over money without receiving papers or running VIN checks first. As Chad has already stated, you'll find the correct answer to your question by ringing Transport SA. Goodluck with it cause it sounds like you'll need it.
  13. not on 1st dates......maybe once I get to know you better
  14. can still be a leaking hose
  15. erm, please clean your glasses Matty, that'd be a Nissan he's about to tow
  16. very nice Carl....Jesse James of West Coast Choppers built something like that about a year ago.....all it needs is wings, lol. Bit late but Merry Christmas to you to bud. Agreed Matty. Driving back from Ballarat with a total weight of 6.5 tonne (and 35 foot long), I had several SA clowns overtaking on dangerous stretches of roads (while I'm sitting on 100kph) then cutting in front of me and braking to 100kph immediately....lol at death wishes. I found the VIC's alot more courteous and respectfull of anything 4 times heavier than them. VIC's are possibly used to waiting in traffic for longer periods than us hence their patience compared to us. Correct on all accounts Dave. Also security these days tend to wait till they're punch drunk before moving in whereas days gone by, we were taught to sniff out trouble before it started....didn't always work but we tended to respond quicker than the fellas these days me thinks.
  17. LPG has a higher octane rating which will prevent some detonation, BUT, doesn't have the cooling or lubrication properties of fuel.........and won't make a big bang like fuel either.
  18. yeah, can't comment on the Super Street series........however, Bilsteins will always be my choice for shocks. was a great day today, driving Shane's R down the hill brought back nice memories....thanks for the day out Ben & even bigger thanks to Shane for allowing me to clean out his exhaust
  19. well you will run those Jap Spec Teins........may as well just weld them up solid, LOL
  20. Just scanned a couple of pics from the Loxton News they just sent me from last month's show. Shane's 2 rides are also lurking in the background.......apart from the show, it was a great weekend as well.
  21. spotted all the SAU Mods and SAU-SA Execs earlier tonight whilst indulging in some fine food............just making some pancakes at the moment which will cap off a good night
  22. LOL, don't forget the snorkel & soccer mum stickers
  23. well it's official then...."Chad's Cab".
  24. yeap, Andrew (Nightcrawler) straight out of a can, lol
  25. by "square" I think he's referring to "bore x stroke = same dimensions" square bore motors generally make for quieter engines, my bike for example 100mm bore x 100mm stroke = pretty quiet for 1650cc x 2 cyls. I also understand there are many other factors that contribute, but generally speaking again, short stroke make for a better revving motor....increase the same motor's stroke and your torque figures drastically improve but you won't rev it as hard.
