cops notebook is 100mm tall which he runs under the lowest part of the car.......I had a similar thing happen to me when a cop followed my bike to JK's shop (Cara was there too when he went over the thing)....no defect though, instead he followed me back home to grab a poster for his kid, lol

yeah I've had a Prado.....brilliant truck and great fun in the dirt, beach and outback. I've lost count how many cars I've bought from the Netley auctions over the years and always very cheap with low kms and still under new car warranty (was buying 1 or 2 per year a little while ago for work). The current work car that I use came from their auctions, on LPG, 18mths old, 30,000km, $14K (still under new car warranty)....Brand new it was $35K!!

on the Netley govt auction site they have a section where you can view past sales with prices alongside....not sure about Pickles but they are open tomorrow I believe

I would've said, go with your first choice Dale cause he has a Torque Plate and you have the option of hand held or machine honing. Don't know if the others mentioned here can offer the same.....prob best to call them and also ask what sort of boring bar they use.

that's just crap....they pull figures out of thin air and you have no choice but to pay their premiums. They are a law unto themselves and should be contolled by a separate body that dictates to them that they can't raise premiums in any one year by more than CPI (ie. 3 or 4% per year).

Guys, just a bit of a 'heads up' for anyone selling stuff, in view of the dramas on the ns.com site, for those that haven't been enlightened. PLEASE be vigilant about your property in particular to inviting strangers into your household. I don't believe it's anyone from this site (could be wrong) but apparently it's been alleged than an ns member has decided to visit a seller of a laptop from the same site and did a runner with it while his back was turned......not certain but I think threats were made as well. Be focused and if someone knocks on your door but parks way up your street, be a little sus.

well maybe you can explain how I've just received a renewal of almost $900 for a bike that hardly gets ridden and is always locked in an alarmed garage?? If I was in my 20's I could possibly understand, but I'm far from it. You guys will not get a good rap on car forums unless you start playing fair! I wonder if I'll even see a response.......we always have the "Insurance Thread" to have a good rant if nothing comes of this I suppose.
