But having said that, once the celebrations of paying your house off are over, you'll find somewhere else to bury the $3K per mth into You'll be amazed at what everyone on here spends unconciously. Everyone should try this experiment.....spend the next 24 hrs writing down EVERY expense per mth including your yearly expenses (divided by 12 obviously), even the stop at Cibos for your lattes. Once you've calculated everything, add between another $50 to $100 per week to that figure cause that's how much you haven't taken into account with emergencies that may come along. Take that figure and subtract it from your NETT monthly income and if at least 50% of you don't register a negative result, I'll give Nightcrawler a big tonguey!!

yeah not a real lot unfortunately Carl.......but I'd do a couple of things differently. problem is Krishy, these people are still working for a wage and no matter how big your wage is, your lifestyle will come up to par (ie. fancier car, house, holiday....even fancier wife). I don't recall anyone getting rich on a wage unfortunately......even if you're earning $100 - $200K per year........you'll spend almost as much (human nature).

I'll give you another example; A good friend of Andrews' (and all round good bloke) is an "Ideas Man" and therefore by definition is an Entrepreneur...........John Munro. A 10 year old can be an Entrepreneur.........some people like to work hard for a pittance, others have good ideas. Inventors of 'Post It Notes' and '3M', etc would agree.....simple ideas, they don't need to be too complicated. Smart investors in either real estate or shares still work 9-5 jobs to pay their bills but make the real $$ (extended income) the easy way. Wish I knew 20 years ago what I know now, cause things would've been a little different....but hind's sight is a beautiful thing as they say.

to give you an example (without giving out too much confidential info), a female that I'm currently looking at is sitting on her ass and receiving 80% of her Gross Income which totals $8000 per week!! Hence why the average wage is so high cause it takes into effect the kids at Maccas all the way up to Entrepreneurs that earn 10 - 20 times more than the PM of this country. You don't even need to have completed year 10 High School to be an Entrepreneur, just be an ideas man!

it's not actually Dan. The National average full time adult wage for 2009 based on a 38 hour week was just under $1300 pw in the private sector and just over that in the public sector.......that's about $34 per hour. You Accountants would easily be doing that, lol

didn't see the game Dave, but I don't think Tredders and a few other seniors were out there. I reckon it was more important for Port to win yesterday than the Crows given the current situation at Alberton.......a loss to the Crows will be swept under the rug and be referred to as a loss in a Mickey Mouse comp, but on the other hand, if Port lost yeasterday, the ramifications would've been far greater. At the moment, Port needs to win regularly in any comp just to appease the supporters and the money men.
