Ahh, have always had a soft spot for those Hemis....do you recall what was done to it Dale? We had a cam grinder and used to put our own profiles on the cam lobes with various masters to choose from in the cupboard, then get get them nitrided. Messed around with the hydraulic lifters in those things and turned them into solids just so we could get ridiculous lifts, durations & overlaps that'd shake the whole car on idle...strictly for drags though.

Apart from that 6 Pack Pacer I had a really nice Porsche red Datsun 260Z 2+2......lots and lots of other cars too (prolly couple of dozen all up) LOL James, sold that centuries ago after blowing the Ford 9" Customline rear end at AIR.......met the guy at the Talbot Hotel and he was either one of the Richmond or Croydon crew from back in the day. I bored the thing out .090" and put Chev 327ci pistons in it then decked the block to suit the lower gudgeon height.......bores were paper thin though and didn't like the warm weather unfortunately. Car parts were so much cheaper in comparison to wages in those days so we could really experiment and it didn't matter if we blew things up......we'd have the engine in and out in 1 arvo after sinking a carton of Southwark Bitter, lol

yeah I know how things work Ben but generally peeps that run 2860's also usually add a set of 700's (or similar) followed by an ECU upgrade to pull the fuel back out and all of a sudden you've gotta a ride that won't get thru Regency......but I take on board what you're saying.

Craig, if I felt he was outta line with only a handfull of posts as he does, then he would be outta here even if he owned that Ferrari. It was just a comeback at certain allegations and misinformation......so pretty much just defending himself or just setting the record straight.......no harm done. Cronic was more outta line than this fella with his tirade against Cara, but I let it go cause at the end of the day he made a good point.......spotting your own car constantly is pretty silly.
