  1. yeah absolutely!! Great way for peeps to meet each other and have a ridiculous time doing it........I'd be all for something like that Steve
  2. They would probably supply their own bolts anyway......the coppermix that Luke got me came with flywheel bolts What sort of driven plates are they Chad....got any pics of them?
  3. yeah I meant the oink variety but wouldn't allow me to post
  4. LOL James.....you're a year too late
  5. Your's is no daily driver though Andrew......would be a cop in daily rush hour stuff though, but for track use would be sweet think he meant s.p.i.g.o.t bush, lol
  6. hey Jess, Steve & Luke will be posting up a thread for something soon.......possibly early Dec, but I'll let them give more details
  7. Ben or anyone else, do you have a direct contact for the organizer of the event so I can get in contact with them........I think it's Stuart that's organizing the event, yeah? Also can payment be made over the phone by credit card or EFT by any chance?
  8. TBH, I had my reservations about hosting such a thread during the exec meeting cause I thought it would get trashed with the usual shit talk by folk that never attend events anyway......but that's clearly not the case with all these great ideas coming forth for Steve & Luke to peruse........sorry Luke, you were right
  9. True twin plates are never going to be as good as a single for very quick gear changes as you're attempting to release 2 driven plates as opposed to 1. However, we don't have a drag strip and grip racing doesn't require the lightning fast changes that drag racing does, hence why I went for the Coppermix Twin plate......which in actual fact, is not a true twin plate (ie. with intermediate plate) cause it uses a single sprung Boss Drive. The other reason I went this way is cause of the lighter diaphram that you can get away with and still get a greater clamping pressure. I've never ever liked solid centre style driven plates or the metal button style ones either cause they're not forgiving as a daily driver. Also double diaphram pressure plates used to be the rage years ago but your left calf muscle needs to be bigger that your right, lol. Drivelines also hate these 3 style of setups.
  10. yeah that'll be their guernsey of choice Steve.......only prob is, that one won't leave them gasping for breath for the next 60 seconds after receiving one
  11. I like all the above.......including well organized cruises and car shows. Here's some more to consider: Ten Pin Bowling nights. Go Kart Events. Paintball Shooting Days. Dyno Days & BBQ's. SAU-SA Footy Match..........and all those that give me a hard time are welcome (so I can show them what a "shirt front" is)
  12. ^^^ Should've grabbed him in a headlock Luke and told him we need his car in a 3 weeks
  13. Not necessarily. The facts so far: Coolant leak at back of head. Coolant level goes down in a week. Pressure test confirms coolant loss in system. You can have coolant leaking from a head gasket without it affecting your oil if the passage of leak is directly from an external water jacket....they don't always track to an oil gallery so oily radiators or milkshakes in cam covers aren't always present with blown head gaskets. The other thing to check is whether exhaust gasses are entering the coolant system but then again, leaks don't always track between combustion chambers & water jackets either.
  14. A big ROR at those 2 in the same car.....that's like Ruby & Rhys going fishing together on a quiet Sunday afternoon. Skaifey should've rigged his car to explode straight after the last lap cause Murphy reminds me of a couple of douches

yeah I had no idea either One thing is for sure, Voss's on ballers won't be playing a chippy chippy posession style game next year......long bombs at every oppotunity. There isn't a backline in the comp (including the Saints meanest defence on record) that'll shut down that forward line down! Last time I ever saw such a top heavy forward line was back in the State of Origin days.....remember Plugga, Dunstall & Ablett snr. in the SA vs VIC game?? Brisbane's built like Dolly Parton now.........Top 2 next year is my tip!

  17. Pretty clear that the clutch centre let go 1st and then bowed out against the flywheel bolts......obviously bolts need to be replaced now regardless if they're still tight. Seen clutches like that before....usually caused by hard launches or flat changing causing the centre to over flex.....also if it's excessively tight over the splines during release.
  18. Def a good night and congrats to Steve & Luke for the great organizing. Great to catch up with alot of the regular SAU peeps and a couple of newbies....sorry if I missed anyone but it seemed all the usuals attended. Dang, that V35 of Andrew's has some decent torque for an NA!
  19. He's given you a firm price! Rather than ask him to PM you with an offer, I suggest you PM him direct if his firm price doesn't suit you.
  20. what year & how many km's Kietz?
  21. LOL Dave, refusal had nothing to do with your shoes........just a standard line, otherwise you'd scream discrimination if they gave you the real reason.

yeah agreed. I always say that rain is a game leveller and tends to nulify skills. Not always but most times, talls are generally useless in rain too hence Riewoldt's inability to break the game open. I'm sure their coach knows that it would've been a different ball game in the dry.
  23. Fixed Also updated prices on this thread's 1st post to cater for SAU-SA Members entry fee.
  24. we're all friends here guys....move on please

Milney was also a huge disappointment for them.....nearly even lost the plot at one stage, lol. St Kilda were getting alot more of the ball but Geelong were alot more efficient in front of the sticks.....If you tried hard not to notice the score board, you would've thought that the Saints were at least 30 points up. Riewoldt was never gonna have a huge day, conditions didn't allow......Cats on the other hand play in those conditions all the time and if you considered talls vs shorts under those conditions, Cats win everytime.
