  1. im sure you can download the manual somewhere on the net dude.
  2. well i guess its time to put some 300+ sized baby's on there
  3. how much did that front pipe from CES cost you Adam? i heard they make a good bit of gear...i know some SR20 owners who have yielded better results with the CES front pipe than a HKS front pipe....
  4. hrmmmm ... seems as though you guys are paying pretty big $'s for oil that does the same job the synthetic oil my mechanic put into my gearbox. i can't see myself changing anytime soon thats for sure
  5. 60 foot is a bit of a shocker b-man, but your mph was pretty good impressive stuff from mario's gtr700.....gettin close now!!!
  6. duncan, weren't you telling me the other day you only had this problem when you were flat shifting at 8,000rpm??? for the record, i dont have redline in my box, i was just wondering if redline would cure my problems
  7. for those of you running redline, how is your gearbox in the mornings or when the engine/oils are cold? i find that my gearbox is really difficult to get into 1st and 2nd when cold but when warm it just slides in .....
  8. i put the whiteline handling pack onto my car plus an additional rear diff brace. the handling pack consisted of adjustable front and rear swaybars plus a rear camber kit and front castor kit. my initial street feel was fantastic. fantastic turn in and no body roll. on the track it was a different story. still the same fantastic turn in but excessive understeer on exit. this could be attributed any number of things including tyre grip, pressure, camber and front swaybar.....the next visit down i added the whiteline front camber kit and laid the wheels over 1.75 negative degrees. still lots of understeer on exit and this was also with toyo trampios r1r tyres which are a rspec / street hybrid. the next time down i softened the front sway bar and things were much better!!! all day i never adjusted my tyre pressures and the thing was handling really well. oversteer was on demand with my rear foot, the thing is really balanced now.... unfortunately i havent had a chance to adjust my rear setup but i really dont have to as im really happy with the way its cornering at the moment. my settings are: Rear Camber was: -ve 0'45', now -ve 1'13' Rear Toe was -ve 3.6mm, now +ve 0.9mm (each side) Front Camber was -ve 1'10', now -ve 1'45' Front Toe was +ve 1.1mm, now 0 (each side) Front Castor was +7'25' now : +ve 7'45'

  12. BACKUP MY ASS JIMBO!!!!!!!!!!!!
  13. on an Rb25 its very doable, on an RB20 im unsure....? can i ask why did you choose the R34 turbo? i find them to be extremely fragile and not capable of running high boost reliably.... they spool quickly, but thats it? in any case, i see "big boost" the only way to get 200kw, so i dont know if the R34 turbo was the best choice?
  14. you have 6 injectors and 6 cylinders - it only takes a lean out in 1 injector to f&*^ your engine? i draw samples from my wrx experiences. the EJ20 block is layed out with 2 horizontally opposed pistons. the fuel rail runs all the way around the block to feed each cylinder. the drawback of this design is quite apparent - the first cylinder on the fuel rail is always rich, the last cylinder can potentially suffer from fuel starvation. when you start pushing the limits of the EJ20, the A/F ratios don't tell the full story, and this is when wrx owners should be most wary. the chance of fuel starvation on that last cylinder increases dramatically. ask wrx fans which cylinder is most popular to blow its ringland and it will be cylinder #2 - not coincedentally the last cylinder on the fuel rail. the solution? they split the fuel rail and run fuel rails down both sides of the block with 2 fuel regulators...my point is, a/f ratios might not tell you the whole truth - be wary of the weakest links...
  15. well said dude. im really over the complaints about how much petrol we have to pay especially looking at what other countries pay. granted they arent taxed as hard as us, but it all works out the same i guess... if you can't afford petrol, you really can't afford a car maybe a civic or a scooter is an option. :flamed:
  16. darkcoupe is a very *fussy* buyer....
  17. to wind back the speedo, why dont you just jack up the rear of the car (for RWD's), put it in reverse and put a brick on the accelerator :headspin:  :Bang: remind anyone of a certain movie?
  18. yeah i've had what i was told to be "axle tramp" in my wrx...i launched the car at say 4 or 5000rpm and i honestly thought the gearbox dropped out
  19. are neon lights coming after you get that ch ch ch sound???
  20. low km skylines are about as believable as "performance cars only get driven on sundays by grandma's"....4 door skylines may be an exception
  21. rofl. thats rich coming from you!
  22. 105-110???? nah, i meant on the track not on the way down to wakefield!!! i see 130-140degrees. from my stock er34 gauge that is. ie. 2nd last notch to the top of the gauge...
  23. what oil temps did you see on the er34 gauges before you came off adam?
