this years modern fields are large amoutns of skylines and large amounts of porsches.. I agree 2000 was a tough year(we came off and totalled a series 6 rx-7 that year). I am fortunate enough to navigate for my dad in the event and have done so in 2000 20001 2002 and will be navigating again this year. Going for our 1st gold plate *yay* Will be cool to catch up with fellow forum members over there i'll be in the Yellow GT3CS de Corti/de Corti entry #904 Have fun people

If you don't claim it and they do check up on it, you'll be ina world fo shit as they can claim you received insruance though providing of fraudulant information and take you to court etc. Not worth the hassle -
4" dump pipe into a 3" mandrel bent system, get a hiflo cat, and a ricey barrel muffler.

yeh getting my broker to check for me tomorrow -
Well odds are i wont be able to afford insurance on the ute, and contrary to popular belief i do pay for that kinda stuff myself and not my folks.. Due to my wonderful driving record(haha... *picks himself off the floor*)... it'll no doubt go up again.. last renewal was a lovely $2700.. which i cant afford to continue to pay a year for something thats depreciating in value.. So I thought about it.. sell ute to mate who knows its history and is keen to buy it.. buy an R31 GTS-X import with RB20DET clean it up a touch(fmic, exhaust etc) and then putting rest into my project car.. I'd get a nice reasonably quick(quick enough to beat the v6 brigade) daily and get closer to finishing my pushrod v8 car Point of thread.. i see why you guys complained about insurance so much.. for a 1988 R31 Skyline, SGIO wont touch anyone under 29.. because its an import.. Famous cars will cover it for $2000.. for a $6000 import.. but won't cover me cause of my record(haha knew that would happen) and RAC only list the GX and GXE australian skylines therefore wont touch it either. Will ring around a bit more tomorrow, but will probably just go third party as bits and peices would be cheap as chips(and i dont intend to crash.. heh).

dunno if its the same for u guys.. but to reset ecu i can pull a fuse out.. maybe check ya fuse box see if theres a relay for ecu?
-
JimX, to true, the v6 brigade probably are the worsed.. although the biggest trouble makers here were the vl 6cyl single spinner burnout brigade.. but they're getting into imports these days, i think as the price drops of imports they become a more viable option to the idiots who used to go for cheap commodores. Unfortunately as u state due to more commodores on road, more idiots driving them

red17.. whats deal with reference to enjo? so i work there.. good for u turning it personal? pretty pathetic imho.. oh and if its an attack on fact my folks run it.. even more pathetic. I love imports and quality of them is better in the build but doesnt mean 1 needs to non stop slander on the commodore, after all its orig purpose is to lug a family around and getting a car designed for that to have a bit of go is good, as oposed to cars which are designed with performance on their side. FIL, oh i know commodores arent the best, but i see poor attitudes from import drivers, its always depending which side of the coin your on.. I killed 3 Auto trannies and 1 diff in the auto ute, in the manual i've snapped a tail shaft.. bout it.. although i need a new selector fork set for reverse

haha man, i love how SAU's turned into a holden/ford bashing shithouse of a forum, atleast WA section is still decent. So u lot.. i see most posts from what? gts-t owners? r32 gts-t's? whale r33 gtst's?... yeh wow.. serious cars there mate.. yes some fast 1's but hate to tell you, but most times a gts-t import does on average wouldnt be better anything to rave about. As for attitudes of drivers? what about the 99% of silvia drivers who think they're drift kings? or skyline owners who think that because they have a nissan badge think they're car is anything like the godzilla's that ruled bathurst? Yes i drive a holden and YES i love imports.. but im getting sick pretty quick of these attitudes most of u idiots seem to have. hey red17.. i have had 2 gen3 cars.. no piston slap. no oil issues.. and i know plenty more like that. So if any of u morons(not all of u who posted, i did see some valid points) do want to have a decent arguement without idiocy involved. feel free to pm me. final note of humour, HSVH8R in WA is on a 6cyl el falcon.. inferiority complex no doubt as it loses to most holdens it races
-
rev, sounds pretty cool.. i know of a few ls-1's who mite be keen to meet up unfortunately there arent "that" many owners in WA willing to work they're cars.. although associate recently got his H/C package done and turned 279rwkw

hahaha cheeky boy, u waite till the Torana's running(gearbox arrives this week)... then i'll find a way to get it to gold coast and kick your ass
-
I personally like the stickers.. if the car warrants it. I see various cars with a shopping list down the side without the mods its anoying.. I have 3. Street Force(did my tuning), Genie(did my exhaust), Enjo(i work for them). no more no less.. if i could be assed and get JUN to do my custom cam i'd have a JUN sticker too
-
err cam.. head from ass please i know the WRX in question and i know its quick.. as for driving a holden.. woopee still beats your neon'd beast. We were having light hearted discussions etc.. If people want stickers good on them so dont instantly asume we're trying to give the person shit as that wasnt my intention.
