  1. ALS does not mean u have to replace your engine every 5000k's. Only component u'd need to replace sooner would be the Turbo and even then if its a steel wheel'd 1 give u atleast 10,000k's As for new GT-R sounds good

  3. actually broke.. the chasers/pursuit rims are 15" and are an extra inch wider than standard steelies which is handy for those who want to run wider rears

  6. true Ethan, except that a lightly modded GTS/GTO will run a 12 not a 13. and in eithercase any gen3 commodore lightly touched will beat a gts-t as they were comparing after its established. And for those who harp on about prices. the GT-R's have in each series when new been over $100,000's as well so its a moot point. Also i do love the gt-r but getting fed up with these newer board members harping on and on about import vs domestics

  11. on street tyres.. and its a quick trap speed for that. i've seen similair traps run into the 12's
  12. mates stock VX GTS ran a 13.2 @ 108mph.. with tweaks it would be up there witha gt-r.. especially on a rolling run
  13. they used to be huge few years ago(bout 10) with the porsche guys.. then they just seemed to die away.. could be because they are insanely loud and cops probably cracked down more on them

  15. whats price of a forward facing plenum? and can they be used with the stocko turbo without a negative effect?

  18. oh and yes imacul8 is right about bang for buck. i have yet to see an r33 gts-t do something impressive yet for a cheap price. I have on the other hand seen many R32's and R31's go quick on a limited budget.. and those are from guys who have thought out the mods alot more than others imho.. even ls-1 guys(yeh im biased har har) have gotten good results for sfa
  19. rob77.. how about u ask denver.. he has only had a bent fork before and currently has an issue where the circlip for driveshaft came off munching stuff.. 2 drama's in bout 3-4 years aint that bad.

  21. RB25.. that car was built for Group B rally during the 80's Lancia Delta S4 was a beast of a car.
  22. i have an ls1 and a t56 sitting on palets here atm.. sounds like a good idea. no i have other plans to work the RB20.. to show that it is a capacble engine etc.
  23. I beleive the approach people take in modifying skylines is wrong. They see megaHP jap cars and think yep cool easily done.. then forget about matching stuff right. I personally if i choose to modify the cefiro will be taking into consideration mods which no1 ever mentions here.. stroking and Cams to help with off boost driving. Overall i think people need to decide on what they want from the car before modding.. also mega hard suspension setups while good for handeling(although most suspension setups i see from japan are just rock solid without much overall thought given to it either) is absolutely useless for drag racing and u'd be better off with stock soft suspension. Just some thoughts of mine
