1. Guys, of all of you who stripped out your cars interior, did anyone remove and still has laying around the CD/radio "box/mechanism" ? Mine is a road car and this box has sh1t istelf. The replacement from Japan is 6 months delivery. (On top of 2 1/2 months already without it). This is a major blow as I have - no radio, no cd, no tyre pressure monitoring system an d no ancillary gauges. Can anyone help? 2009 and 2011 are different, so must be out of an Oz delivered 2010. The box sits in front of the gear shift and is the bit the CDs go in. cheers Adam.
2. Your statement is incorrect. You should have written - Considering the RRP is $168k after LCT and before onroads. LCT is included in the rrp of $168k, onroads are not.
3. Really, the r35 is such a track honed tool (& I do daily drive mine) that if you are cross shopping with those other cars that I suggest that you not get the GT-R. To me there was no other choice but a GT-R, because all that mattered was performance. If that's not what floats your boat get the merc. The tranny noises, harsh ride etc etc is not going to endear you to the GT-R. Take a look at the NAGTROC forums with several threads on this exact topic in the last month - 6 weeks.
4. Oh, ok. But the OP's Q is still valid. As are your variables. So the answer is - yes discounts are certainly available on these cars. My vehicle and another (white) 2010 (maybe still on carsales.com) at high $150k drive away suggests maximum discount levels obtainable. But yes, discount up to individual dealer on the day. Just makes me laugh that US guys are paying up to $10k over list.
5. Whats wrong with trying to get a feel for the level of discount available out there? Maybe the market is like the US where people pay (well) over rrp. (obviously its not!). Did the level of discount I obtained offend you ? Ps Martin knows me and could verify that i'm not a bs artist!
6. No one pays list in Australia unless its a pre order or very shortly after release. The answer to your Q depends on "when". If you want a 2011 now expect circa 5-10k If you want a 2012 early next yr, expect to pay close to list. I poicked up 1 of the last 2010's 3 months ago and got 18k off
7. Correct me if I am wrong but that is very little improvement for such huge changes to the car. I gather that the suspension is not yet setup?

Also, I am curious as to why increase the displacement when getting HP out of these things is hardly difficult at std displacement.
8. Of course its expensive, you are only 20 years old and driving for 1 year. Sure, put it in mums name. You think insurance companies are stupid? Thats a sure recipie to end up with a totaled car, no insurance and a big bill. If you cant afford the insurance, you cant afford the car.
9. Just what I was thinking......... if they are worth some $$ to other GT-R owners then the Nissan kit could be very good value.
10. My brochure (2010) does say caliper. Cost is at the $5k mark.
11. Nagtroc had pics up in a thread only last week i reckon - try search for thread on emptying the "gas" tank.

here ya go - http://www.nagtroc.org/forums/index.php?/topic/63088-how-to-siphon-gas/page__p__788634#entry788634
12. Actually Domino your reasoning there is not sound. A larger diameter means a bigger circumference, but all points on a theoretical line from centre tangentially to the circumference complete 1 revolution in the same time. The distance to travel may be greater for a point further out from the centre, but the surface speed of that point is greater also. The increase in braking effectiveness would come from the increase in "leverage" gained by moving the pad further out from the centre. Pad material may have changed also.
13. Hey Martin, just wanted to say thanks for your help last week! Although I obviously have a 35, you know i'm not cashed up like all the other owners out there , so once again, thanks man Cheers Adam.
14. Fungoolie is correct. R32line, it even says in your link that most vehicles imported do not fit into the category of duty payable on the purchase price, but rather must be valued here in Oz.
15. Hi mate, you still have the R35 midpipe there?

cheers Adam.
