  1. That sound is more likely to scare off the chicks. Our cars don't exactly sound good. A v8 or a fazza sound good. GT-Rs and Evos sound crap.
  2. I know that this thread has been inactive for a long time, however, I searched for some good roads in WA as I moved here recently, and this thread turned up, so I will add a response. If your car is any bigger than a go kart, forget the Zig Zag. With only 1 lane width and like 6, 10 kph corners (almost needed to use the handbrake in the 35 to get round them !), forget it. Park rd in John Forrest national park is 1 of the targa roads, but forget that too, it's just way too rough. I will take a look at some of the other suggestions in due course. Makes me realise how lucky I was to have lived 5 mins from the Adelaide hills in SA.
  3. Let me know how you go re shipping, my experience in attempting to get mine from Adel to Syd proved difficlut because of the (low) ground clearance. Toll carry for Nissan, but refused to do private for me because of the GC issue. In the end I just gave up and had dad drive it accross.
  4. Do a search on NAGTROC there's lhd & RHD info there
  5. Hey Hzrdus saw ur R on Edensor rd tonight in close company with a grey 35. Cant wait till mine gets here from Adelaide next week. Would be good to meet up for a drink?
  6. You must be getting divorced ! LOL
  7. quote -TOMMI MAKINEN R-35's are certainly hard to match straight out the box (stock vs stock) but once you apply some thoughtful mods, they are no world beater by any stretch of the imagination around a race track. That doesn't make sense. To give you an example, there's a fully road registered $20K Evo 6 that still maintains it's factory assembled motor, stock turbo (just bolt on breathing mods), stock brakes etc. that just about has the measure of this GT-R around Mallala. Must be dishearterning to almost be spanked by a 13 year old Lancer Mate, you are a tosser, "dishearterning to almost be spanked" no it isn't. Even if it was faster, WTF cares, its a Lancer.

  9. LOL, saw you and nodded, smiled, but thought that you looked to be in a hurry and in an instant you were gone !
  10. Martin, were you racing the 86 at Wayville the other night?
  11. Yeah, def somthin wrong there. I drive hard pretty much all the time and have got more than 7,500klm outa mine.
  12. Could you elaborate what the symptons of your tranny were?
  13. Plenty of good advice in here. Since your tyres look to be ok, check the alignment, corner weightings. Soften up the damping, less use of the right foot, do a advancd driver course, slow down.
  14. I came from an SST X (exhaust, tuned by Martin, lowered, brakes, rear swaybar etc etc) to the GT-R The first thing that your going to notice is how much better the SST box is over the GT-Rs tranmission, especially having the 3 modes - normal, sport and f%$^ing crazy sport ! Dont expect any oversteer - ever, unless you use the handbrake. Quality - excellent, never had a single issue with mine -ever. Never had hoons wanting to race me, nor did it get any unwanted attention. Resale value is F&^%#ing crap though ! I Almost couldn't give it away in the end. but have you thought about a 1M?
  15. Hey Wardski, I too would be very happy with the price that you picked yours up for (I also bought a 2010 well after the 2011 s had been released, but didn't drive as hard a deal as you did) anyway, in some small way you are probably contributing to the devaluation of our cars in bandying about what you paid. How about keeping what you paid off the public forum and if some one really wants to know they pm you? No offence intended.
  16. Hi , its a Willall one. (The midpipe is not on offer), just rearwards from there. Looking to either swap as per my earlier post or sell outright. Adam.
  17. Cheers for that. I dont have anthing else to trade and as I am not working atm, best not to splash out on this, but would have done the trade. No dramas g.l.w.s.
  18. Hi, got any more pics of the boot lid? Are ya Interested in a swap for a R35 titanium exhaust + cash my way ?
  19. "they also don't seem to be very mod friendly @ Moorooka either so installing Willall parts and maintaining warranty is NEG. Maybe other dealers will take the risk on mods, but its clear Moorooka will not." The dealer does not "take the risk", as soon as you identify a possible warrantable item, the first thing that the dealer does is send off the warranty request to Nissan Australia. Nissan Australia says yea or nay to your warranty claim, not the dealer. I had a component eventually replaced under warranty (which took over 5 months) and the entire time the dealer made it very clear that the issue was not in their hands, but up to Nissan Austarlia to decide if they were going to approve it or not. Maybe there is a $ limit up to which the dealer can approve them selves, but i doubt that any drive line items affected by mods fall into this category.
  20. Cobb or ebay or NAGTROC forums (4 sale section) about $600 2nd hand ecu only to - $1500 new ecu + tranny control. come with canned ecu tune.
