PIE: Which car are you referring to
I would normally in that case suggest you take the car to an alternate workshop so you get a totally unbiased and honest report
This might help you out.
I sold my GTS-T early this year and the buyer chose CRD at Silverwater for the inspection. I have to say I was impessed with how thoroughly they checked the car over for the buyer. Everything from Compression tests to dynoing to road tests including checking every single switch and electrical device in the car. A complete report was also issued with the results of the inspection.
They would definarely be a good place to go if you want the peice of mind of having the car totally checked out rather than some half baked NRMA inspection that doesnt provide you with enough information.
Edit: CRD charged around $200 for this service (good value)
I fitted my Apexi Power Intake pods - peice of cake.
Just undo the clamp holding the each afm into the rubber intake tubing and slide the entire airbox/afm assembly out - then detach the afm's from the standard airbox and bolt onto your new pods
Easy work - just takes a bit of fidling around.
Stared blankly at my screen for hours on end - hitting refresh every 2 minutes in the vein hope that my forum lifeline would spring back to life.
Eeeek - the power of addiction

SIR33 as Steve mentioned they can be purchased quite cheaply through greenline especially. I have however heard stories of the HKS items suffering issues with the teeth breaking - for the minimal price difference you may be better going for JUN / TOMEI etc alternatives.
