Seriously, where are you getting this information from? I use my Optus mobile every day when I am in Japan and have done so for the past 5 years The moment I step off the plane and switch my phone on, its connected.

Job well done - Looking forward to seeing what sort of numbers it produces once its run in and leaned on I am still searching for replacement GTR, apparently I am too picky as I haven't found a suitable base yet.

At least that thread states that they are 'imitation' Brides. There are a few sellers hammering these on Ebay, and they all note 'Postage from Taiwan'

To the best of our knowledge, there are no business traders on this forum trying to pass off fake Brides as the real deal, however there have been a couple of private sellers doing so and claiming they 'bought the seats from a mate and they didn't come with boxes or doco' etc etc. As Antimatter said, while its getting harder and harder to immediately spot the visual differences between the genuine article and the fake at first glance, if you look hard enough, it is still quite obvious (in my mind anyway)

I think you are spot on Ben. The old type were notoriously problematic, but the newer current HKS gears, like Tomei are made from Duralumin for increased strength and durability.

Absolutely nothing. As long as the cat decent quality and well made, and is suitable for the level of tune of the car in question, they are fine. They may not be suitable for heavily modified or heavily fueled cars - For applications like this you would probably want to look towards a metal cat (ie Catco)

Andrew, I sold mine recently but had absolutely no problems with it in close to 2 years of ownership. By far one of the nicest cars I have driven.

It should fit Andrew, to my knowledge its just the model for R34 GTR which is different and has the temp sensor attachment. Nick
