  1. If this car is 'genuine' then my GTR was hand painted, designed and assembled by Carlos Ghosn.
  2. Wow, impressive. I remember how much money you put into your old GTS-25T, and it looked identical to the '2500R'. In fact I remember when you had the Trust turbo and the Greddy plenum fitted. What are the odds of finding a 'Genuine' 2500R in Japan, let alone one that looked like your previous cars twin?
  3. Malcom, your car looks great. Is this not the same R33 that you have had for years? Or did you have another one that looked identical.
  4. Its common knowledge that a number of big tuners in Japan are under a great deal of financial strain at the moment and have been for a while. Not many of the shops can afford the cost involved in purchasing and developing an R35 GTR.
  5. Correct. A worthless post that was irrelevant to this thread was removed, along with a response to it.
  6. Whoa, go easy on the details!
  7. I have a tonne of pics of it if you want some Chris I photographed this car in Japan when it was on show at Tokyo Autosalon, I think I have something like 100 pics of it
  8. There are a handful of them in Sydney now that will be road registered shortly, so tough titties to Nissan. CRD's car will not be the first road registered R35 in NSW. For CRD to have the financial ability to buy the R35 for development purposes already places them WELL ahead of other tuners in Australia as has already been said, and I have no doubt we can expect big things from this particular car. Don't be surprised if you see CRD pushing the limits of the VR38 before other well known Japanese workshops do Mind you, considering the replacement cost of a VR38 is in the region of $40,000 AUD, you'd want to have some serious coin in the bank before you went trying to test the engines limits!
  9. Incorrect. CRD owns the car, the signage was part of the deal as they are partnering with Greddy
  10. For R32's yes, the one I posted is the R33/R34 type.
  11. Here is another worth mentioning, now available at Just Jap. If I didn't already have a CRD custom tank, I would try one of these: http://justjap.com/store/product.php?produ...=317&page=1
  12. They are good enough for some of the fastest time attack GTR's in Japan so im sure you would't have a problem.
  13. Just a tip for you, you may want to blur out the trade plate
  14. Post some pics showing this car as being currently registered please.
  15. Fair call Snowy I was going to say I can understand Alford not wanting to push it considering the value of the car, but that pales when compared with Stokell's effort in the Gallardo upon its debut! Heres hoping that we see some more impressive performances from the R35 soon
  16. I was just going to say this. I think its a bit premature to write off the ability of the R35 as a competent tarmac rally car simply because of one minor incident. There was a lot of hype surrounding this particular car, and sure, we all wanted to see it kick some ass but lets be realistic, this is the first such event it has competed in, and im sure we will see plenty of decent results in the future once some further development has occured, particularly around the suspension setup.
  17. Indeed - Damaging a forged 20 inch rim and tyre is an expensive exercise in itself
  18. Tony has pulled out of the stage so its all over for the R35 for today at least. It blew both front tyres and damaged one of the rear wheels when it came off. They have a spare set of wheels and tyres so we will see what they decide.
  19. Its the 350 GT-8 Sedan, 8 Speed Paddle Baby Right now I have the V35 and the R33 GTR
  20. Hey Matt, doing pretty damn good, how about you? Tonight, got a bit on, but should be around the Chatswood area for a bit so may try and swing by.
  21. :ohnoes: Mavric's back in town
  22. This post is a joke right?
  23. The ones UAS sells are the carmate bonnets from memory. For the money, I would instead go for a decent Japanese made bonnet. Just Jap has D Speed Carbon Bonnets for ECR33 for $1099.00 http://justjap.com/store/product.php?produ...=328&page=1
  24. Item: ARC M073 Intercooler (Large Type) 700 x 300 x 70mm Condition: Excellent Price: $1250.00 To Fit: (What car) BNR32/BCNR33 Location: Sydney - North Ryde Hi all, I have for sale one good condition ARC M073 Intercooler to suit R32 & R33 GTR. This is the larger type M073 core, measuring a huge 700 x 300 x 70mm, and is extremely light weight as far as Intercoolers go, especially compared to the factory GTR cooler. ARC are the best of the best when it comes to Intercoolers, and their GTR replacements are absolute top shelf pieces of gear. If you are looking for the perfect replacement for your modified GTR, this is the core to buy. Unlike some shorter but thicker alternatives, you won't have to hack your front bar to pieces to fit this one either, so installation is painless. Overall core condition is very good, no leaks, and only a couple of bent fins. Brand new this core will set you back in excess of $2000.00 I am asking $1250.00 Firm. Pickup is available from North Ryde in Sydney, and im happy to post if required as the buyers expense. Cheers
  25. When buying a car, I always look for one that hasn't been crushed or drooped.
