  1. Damn! 275 is fat rubber for the rears too. I have 245 / 45 / 17R in the rears. Thought it was a Veilside. I think we have the same exhaust, but I think mine is only a 3.5" by measuring the out pipe on the exhaust tip. But I will have to get my mechanic to change the stud pattern so it will fit onto my hi flow cat, as the catback has a 3 bolt stud pattern and my high flow is a 2. Yeah I want to keep it as quiet as possible too but have a good flow.
  2. Did you get a tune done after installing the front mount intercooler? You might have a slight lag in boost / power due to any extra piping you needed for the front mount intercooler... Maybe run 1 or 2 PSI higher then stock. Did you shield off your air pod or atleast have a cold air intake feeding air to it... R33's are "best bang for you buck" type of car, but I hate the look of them and surprisingly, you coming from a Silvia background and being on NS like me as well, they hate R33's I would rather a R32 GTS-T or a R34 GTT, for RWD, besides that GTR in the Skyline range But yeah if you are chasing after more power the RB25DET will be good for that.
  3. ... Fuck no! Shit!
  4. They'd probably come and ask for your car JD.
  5. They gonna use "fake" Ferrari's (riced up MR2's) again? And pull it off as the real thing?
  6. Hey Adam! Don't think I can make it now, gota friends BDay on that day! Cool! See you at the next 1. Thanks!
  7. Your rear tyres look fat as! Looks tough! What size are they and what exhaust is that? New wheels Jenkies?!
  8. S14 + R33 5 speed gear box conversion = Win! Or just get a manual S14 gear box.
  9. Damn I love monster trucks!
  10. I should come and watch the movie!
  11. Thanks to you Kristian, I have made the corrections in my post. Since you own a V-Spec II N1, you will defiantly know the differences! - http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...t&p=5484121 Use this as a guide and it will give the new comers some idea of it all.
  12. Ppl replace the stock gauges with aftermarket ones as they can be a lot more accurate. If I had a R34 GTR I would keep the MFD as I like it a lot and place whatever extra ones I need else where. Replacing the gauges / MFD will have nothing to do with the ECU. Depending on how far you want to go with the tuning, for light tune go piggy back or Re-Map. APex'i Power FC for full upgrade + self tune-ability. ^^ This +1
  13. I am sure you all want to know what the differences are... as I have posted. The V-Spec II N1 / V-Spec II Nur / M-Spec Nur will have the best value for money. Base models / V-Spec / V-Spec II / M-Spec's are not worth the extra as there is nothing to separate it from being anything special
  14. Ah yeah LOL! So easy to bring in R32's now. Mine was bought in under the 15 year rule. Mohsen, you mechanic should be able to re gas it.
  15. Hehe! They are standard EVO's but come with HKS bolt on upgrades from factory, as I was told. Yes, it's Fucking Quick for sure... I think that is just speculation for what it stands for as I am yet to find any solid evidence to prove what it actually stands for.
  16. RB26's are indestructible / bullet proof, with the right type of maintenance, care and know how. Do proper oil / oil filter changes, the correct tuning and set up and it will take you a long, long way. A standard RB26 block is made of cast iron and the N1 block is the same but with larger cooling channels for better cooling. You can easily run 400+ kW's on a stock block. I have driven a R34 GTR V-Spec II Nur with 306 kW's at the rears and been in a R33 GTR V-Spec with 450 kW's at all 4 wheels (kW's at the fly wheel would have been easily 500 or just under) Correct! I pretty much wrote the differences between each model (kinda like a sticky thread for SAU as the question gets asked time after time). + with the help and correction from Kristian (Iron Chef) with a few details. It's bit of a read but here it goes... A standard R34 GTR is the base model. R34 GTR V-Spec = Standard R34 GTR but came with ATTESA E-TS Pro system and an Active LSD at the rear. Had harder suspension and lower ride height. A plastic front air diffuser (covering the underside of the engine) and also a rear carbon fiber air diffuser, designed to keep air flowing smoothly under the car. The Multifunction Display (MFD) had two extra features to the display: Intake and Exhaust Temperatures. Ceramic twin turbo's. R34 GTR V-Spec II = As above + an increase of hardness to the suspension and larger disk brakes on the rear. OEM carbon fiber bonnet with an NACA Air Duct to vent air to the turbo side of the engine. Iridium center console and aluminium pedals. (Just for looks) Seat interior colour were black rather then gray, which was used on previous R34 GT-R models. (Just for looks) Indicator lenses were replaced with white / clear instead of amber / orange. (Just for looks) Ceramic twin turbo's. R34 GTR V-Spec II N1 = As above but RB26DETT was refined. The water cooling channels in the block were enhanced to increase flow. The block and internal components were strengthened. The pistons have 1.2 mm (0.047 in) top rings but otherwise as standard. The connecting rods and the crankshaft are standard but balanced, crankshaft was further refined as to the R33 GTR N1. The specifications of the camshafts were also improved for power and further refined as to the R33 GTR N1. The N1 had an upgraded oil and water pump, to improve the cooling and lubrication. N1 Twin Turbo's = Steel internals with ball bearings, more responsive and a factory boost increase of 1.2 Bar (17.4 Psi) as opposed to the standard R34 GTR's / V-Spec's / V-Spec II's, which is about +0.7 (10.1 Psi) / +0.8 Bar (11.6 Psi). Rear wiper and carpet in the boot were all removed to save weight. The sound system was also removed but could be factory optioned back into the car. Very rare R34 GTR. R34 GTR V-Spec II Nur = As above but WITH Air conditioning, radio / cd, rear wiper and carpet in the boot. Different colour stitching on the interior trim as well as a speedometer reading up to 300 km/h. Was released in a Millennium Jade colour along with the Cam / Rocker / Engine cover as opposed to the Other R34 GTR's with a Red colour. Also released in other colours as well. As for power differences in between all the R34 GTR's, they were all claimed to be 206 kW's from factory but realistically the R34 GTR N1's and Nur's would be higher then the standard R34 GTR / V-Spec / V-Spec II's, due to the refinement of the RB26DETT and the boost increase. R34 GTR M-Spec = R34 GTR V-Spec but with "Ripple control" dampers to soften the suspension for a more comfortable ride. Leather interior with heated front seats. R34 GTR M-Spec Nur = R34 GTR V-Spec II Nur + with "Ripple control" dampers to soften the suspension for a more comfortable ride. Leather interior with heated front seats. R34 GTR M-Spec and the M-Spec Nur were both quite rare and was also released in a specific colour called Champagne Gold (Silica Blaze / Silica Breath) + Millennium Jade. M-Spec / M-Spec Nur's were kinda like a "Luxury" model, but with performance. Hope that helps Either you go all out and buy a Nur or stick to the base model and upgrade that, as the Nur is a more unique car in a way and owners would prefer to keep it Street / Weekend type of car. I would not run anything over 1 Bar (14.7 Psi) on the stock turbos (Ceramic internals, which is what the Base Model had too), unless you upgrade or have the N1 turbos or whatever turbo of your choice. The Nur I drove had N1 turbos (stock), aftermarket Cam Gears, full 3" or 3.5" turbo back exhaust, upgrade the ECU to an APex'i Power FC + a tune, you could easily see 300 kW's... Stock R34 GTR air intake / air filter, front mount intercooler, BOV, injectors, fueling system are pretty decent for 300 kW's. GTR gear boxes can take up to 500 kW's, but the clutch is a different story Factory Brembo calipers will do you fine, but ppl usually go to the extent of upgrading to even larger calipers or upgrade the brake pads to very high quality 1's for the stock brembo calipers. Whatever you use the car for will determine what setup you will go for. Use the correct setup for the correct application and you will be fine.
  17. If it is for your R32, it should have been done during compliance...
  18. LOL! I saw a matt black KE70, previous owner bought it for $400 and sold it for $2000, stock.
  19. ^^ From memory, you picked the KE70 for a good price. You'd probably make some cash back too!
  20. ^^ Yeah pretty much Hah!
  21. The yanks man up else where... SUV / MX5
  22. Fucking hell, as much as I think MX5's are for the ladies... This looks bad as! Lipped guards and wheel fitment is tight as!
  23. I see, Rolla peps forking out $4K... Let'em get back to you in about a few years... As Funky says "bunch of broke asses"! So the R33 is going to be a full track car yeah...
