R34 GTR V-Spec's and V-Spec II's are the same car. IMO it is the same bonnet (shape) but the V-Spec II's have a NACA Duct, made of carbon fibre and they will fit.

You don't have to oil up the K&N ones. You can just leave them dry. + when K&N say to oil them, they just mean a light spray, don't soak it.

They want you to drive smaller cars or more so don't want ppl to drive... I was 22 years old and insured my GTR for about $1210 Full Comprehensive with Just Cars Insurance. And if you didn't know, Just Cars Insurance specialise in insuring young drivers with high performance cars at good cost. There are others like Shannons Car Insurance as well.

I LOL! everytime when that article is posted. SAU shit on about how shit the HKS filters are and yet some of the worlds fastest GTR's in Japan are using HKS filters. As long as you clean them regularly and check the condition of the sponge filter material, you will be fine. I clean mine at least twice between every 5000km's intervals. Once at the start of the service, then clean again when the car has done 2500km's then when due for next service it is cleaned again. The ARC Air box is similar to air pods, as the sponge filter is exposed, unless there is a cold air intake feeding air to it. Since you have the twin pods on now, if I were you , I would find the stock R33 GTR air feed (the one that sits on top of the radiator) bolt it in and at least you will have a cold air intake.

I drove a 260RS last week. The characteristics of the RB26 is still there in a straight line. Responsive and had the power as it was lightly modded with an exhaust, twin air pods and I think the FMIC was aftermarket as well... Just take it easy around corners and a lightweight could have helped LOL! Biggest sleeper ever. Ppl pull up next to you and got no fucking idea what it is, especially when it has some sorta JDM bodykit / wheels... They just stare and wonder.

LOL! All my friends keep telling me to get it, but I hate it / can't be fucked with it. Some say 'good on me for not getting it' as they are all pretty much sucked into this social networking online that consumes you...
