  1. R33 GTS-T's had an air feed to the stock air box right..? If you still have the stock air box, you could just bolt on the air feed (Cold Air Intake / CAI) to feed air to the HKS Pod, that will help with a bot more air...
  2. If it is new then should be fine, but it doesn't hurt to do it I guess... I am assuming you just flush it to get rid of any dirt, dust, small partials that may have been sitting in there. Just flush the distiled water, dry it then install it. Like when I put in new rear disk brakes, I gave the disk a clean with brake cleaner.
  3. NISMO SUPER COPPERMIX - TWIN PLATE CLUTCH Product # 3002B-RSR48 - Nissan - Skyline BNR34 - RB26DETT - $2,098.02 AUS - http://www.nengun.com/nismo/super-coppermi...in-plate-clutch
  4. Yep, that FAKE GTR is full of fail.
  5. As you know a turbo timer is there to just allow the car to sit and idle after you have removed the key from the ignition. Turbo timer is there so you don't have to wait. As you car idles, it allows the oil in the turbo to cool down to a lower / safe temp, if you have been driving the car hard, it is best to give it a bit longer. Some ppl just let the car sit for a few minutes, some drive the car slowly, park, then switch it off. For my car, I give it about 3 mins and on hot days / hard driving a little longer, just to be safe. Get you mechanic to hook it up while their doing the clutch.
  6. So no one got any decent pics? Yeah I am usually the one with the camera... Basti? TJ? ANy pics?
  7. Post pics, or it never happened
  8. So how did the meet turn out? A lot of cars?
  9. ^^ Brids, he already has a FMIC and turbo back exhaust. Boost controller is the next step then maybe a tune, get an APEXi Power FC... Upgrade your Panel Air Filter to a high flow one, like APEXi, K&N just to name a few... Or you got an air pod? I never new the Crossfires where that fast...
  10. I regards to your intercooler, depending how many kW's you want, an upgrade to a R34 GTT stock Side Mount Intercooler would have been fine for just over 200 kW's, but since it is already on the car as you bought it like that, then +1 for you. With your Front Mount Intercooler, it's good for over 300 kW's so, you set there. Yeah your right, looks like a Turbo Timer. I assume you have switched your car off and the timer starts counting down... You should know...
  11. So you got an aftermarket Front Mount Intercooler or an upgraded Side Mount Intercooler? It's either a boost controller or a turbo timer under the steering wheel.
  12. LOL! a "VS" thread. Skyline GTS-T = 2.5-litre, I6, 24-valves DOHC, Turbo 184 kW, 294 Nm of torque. Chrysler Crossfire = 3.2-litre, V6, 18-valve SOHC, 160 kW, 310 Nm of torque.
  13. Yeah true, so I guess it's inline ball. My comparison was just between stock Stagea vs stock VR4.
  14. ^^ +1 and good luck with it.
  15. The Nismo 400R side skirts are suppose to go with the Nismo 400R front bar, to give the car an aggressive, 'boxy' edge look, mainly for the R33 GTR. I like the 400R side skirts, but in your case, your Stream Line Style side skirts suite your car.
  16. I got Kumho Ecstas atm, all round good tyre, nice tyre with some good grip too. 245/45/17R.
  17. I like them, I know a SAU member on her who has one. I am sure they have plenty of potential with the power and more room then a Skyline. IMO their kinda like the Nissan Stagea's of the Mitsubishi world, +1 extra turbo and 4WD.
  18. DR/FT... Ok, lets just say, SAU prefer other brands then anything from Autobarn But if it does the job for you then all good. To be honest, if you are running stock boost, your stock BOV will be fine. All those aftermarket BOVs are wank unless you are running a very high level of boost and your stock BOV can't handle the pressure anymore. + Now you have an air pod, the pod itself will make some kinda 'Choo' noise after your turbo has spooled and you release the throttle.
  19. The site is Flash over load and looks quite good too. But I don't know if this crew is for real or not...
  20. ^^ LOL! $200 will probably get you a muffler. Just save up and look for a decent exhaust and look through the For Sale threads on SAU. You never know what you will find.
  21. Brand new, anywhere $600 - $1000+ 2nd hand, $500 + Approx. Try for sale section...
  22. I didn't know Hyundai Excel's had RB26's in them...
  23. Well said, as you pretty much narrowed it down to the target audience. I have bought Wheels Mag in the past, but every issue was HSV vs FPV, even now when I go look at whats new on the magazine stand, it's always some HSV vs FPV top of the range and every so often they would make it a HSV vs FPV vs EVO X or 370Z or STi or an Exotic Euro. As long as HSV and FPV are on the front cover, I guess their doing their job... Call me bias as I am Skyline enthusiast, still HPi has had GTR / Silvia Specials, segments on Supra, Soarer, Z, RX 7, EVO, STi, NSX, even a Ford Mustang was in HPi one time IMO there is a bit more variety, mainly with the JDM cars.
  24. Yeah SPEED I had issue 1 to about 5 and was given #15. I can't remember why they got axed... Zoom (Fully blown, outrages mods), Hot 4's (Riced up shit), half the time its all the same shit, but Zoom has some very good and interesting articles tho. For example, Zoom had segments on comparing Front Mount Intercoolers, how a NOS System is set up and differences in Boost Controllers... Just to name a few. HPi is still number 1 for me, direct from Japan and they have segment on cars that are in AUS as well.
  25. Where were you? LOL! Hope you had fun Josef. Ya never too old to RaCE, GRL.
