  1. BP Visco 3000! Wow thats different. I asked about that type of oil, cuz I use BP Ultimate 98, LOL! Feed back was not that good, but if it works for you then sweet. Is it not too thick? Cuz I trialed afew oils and used Vavoline 20w/50 = Too thick for me, never again.
  2. I see, that explains why its probley hard to get a Skyline engine in cuz you ppl never really had them until now you ppl get the R35 GTR. Newer maybe one thing but getting an engine thats atleast 15 years old, things are going to be replaced and fixed up. Unless the car is hardly driven and you never know and can oly speculate from its condition. You could probley get a front half cut from Japan. $5000 - $8000 (Approx) I have not checked for a few years.
  3. Heh! Guess I was lucky to find two great mechanics.
  4. There is a S13 drift car with a RB26DETT, I think the girl is name Kat? She or someone is a SAU Member on here. I saw pics of the car in their signature...
  5. Nice! Might wanna lower the car a few inches too.
  6. I use Mobil Synthetic S 10W 40. So far so good. Oil Filter Im not that fussed, Ryco or Nissan genuine.
  7. I was told R33 GTR's had the strongest gearbox. R32, R33 and R34 can hold up to 500kW. But Iam not sure if a GTR gearbox can go into a GTS-T...
  8. Are you asking to do an engine conversion, so a RB20DET (GTS-T) in a SR24DE (240SX USA / 180SX AUS)? If so, Im sure you can, I have seen a S13 Silvia (SR20DET) with a R33 GTS-T (RB25DET) engine conversion.
  9. ^^C West Body Kit, that is one killer kit! Plus the matte paint job gives it a nice stealth look.
  10. Can't beat the Nismo's and Nur's IMO
  11. Yeah right, well I think gtrzilla should be checking the fluid 1st and if its up, check the hand brake sensor as you said before bleeding the brake system. Just to be safe and save the effort of doing the braking system.
  12. BTW just a thought, have you checked you brake pads? Usually if your brake pads are down the fluid goes down. New Pads = fluid goes up. (Might recquire slight top up) Hand brake light, I always thought there is a sensor of some sort...
  13. Forget Veilside unless you got a heavily modified car, other wise its just rice. Go for a Nismo front bar, GTR side skirts and rear pods and it will top the car off nicely.
  14. Give the car a rev when idling and watch the boost gauge to see it the pointer goes up, then go for a drive and put your foot down and watch the gauge to see if it goes up, keep an eye out on the road as well. LOL! The boost gauge will only go Up if you put your foot down on the accalerator. Remember, boost runs off the exhaust gases/fumes. If you are just traveling at a consistent speed to will just sit at 0 or under boost. The turbos are cycling the air but not spooling up.
  15. Ok hold up! A WRX is a 2 litre Boxter 4 engine (H4) Turbo Charge and the later model it was upped to a 2.5 ltire Boxter 4 engine (H4) Turbo Charge. There were 2 door versions such as the Subaru Impreza WRX STi 22B. Cool! Subies = short for Subaru A Rexy = WRX Lazy talk, LOL! OK back to cliffo_rb26dett If you are 19 and could get a R34 GTR, HELL! GO FOR IT! WHAT YOU WAITING FOR?! I had to wait 4 years till I got my R32 GTR. When I was 19, stock R34 GTR's (not even V Spec's) were $110 000 if not $120 000. GTR vs STi = 2 different cars. Engine wise and each car will have its own characteristics. Its up to you to test drive both and make a choice on what you preffer better. I drove a R34 GTR V Spec then a friends Ford AU TE 50 AWD vs RWD 2.6 lt Inline 6 Twin Turbo vs 5 lt V8 The feel was totaly different, R34, I love the boost kick in feeling at the top end which I am use to and the TE 50's torque was a very big pull down low. Each to their own.
  16. RB26 engines for the R32 and R33 GTR's came in black The R34 came in a red, the one you pictured is the one for the V Spec II Nur, which is Millenum Jade. Also ppl do custom jobs where they can interchange the rocker covers or custom paint them to whatever they wish.
  17. Run a business dealing with print consumables.

  19. Good job can you feel the difference in performance as it should be blocking out the hot air? Car more responsive?
  20. Yeah sure. It was pig getting use to and It's either in or out. but mine came with the car, so who knows how the previous owner drove it... LOL! It was pretty much on its last legs. Put the stock GTR one back in and its a dream to drive. Yeah No riding clutch.
