RX 7 = F**kin' NUTS! Friend gota Series 3 and put a Series 6 engine in it (Rebuilt), Large high mount single turbo, front mount intercooler with shorten piping to reduce turbo lag, high flow air intake, boost controller, full exahust, rebuilt diff, gear box with triple plate, large brakes, wheels the works. When I went for a spin, went sideways in 1st and then sideways in 2nd. This car was so light and so powerfull he had to customize his no. plates to INSANE. But he told me ppl make jokes about Rotories engines how they have low torque so there was that saying "C'mon! REV YA ROTORIES!"... Is this true?

Seems to be a lot of Supra FOR THE WIN response but the vote count is show more in favor of the GTR. Hard choice BTW, I preffer the look of the GTR but my friend has a Supra and its killer. Both cars can be tuned to perfection, head to head. But I just worry about all that power going through the rear wheels as the GTR will get better traction. SURE ppl have done things to over come the wheel spin with the Supra. So... What will it be?

Updating content on a website. Great idea! I too hate site that don't update. And now that you have stated you main focus is road testing, ppl may use it for referance or another form of car magazine (Ezine = Electronic Magazine). This shall be sucsseful, just work at it and maybe market your site. Also another way to get ppl coming back is making sure the information about the cars is correct so ppl can rely on it as reference for researching cars.

Whats your target audiance? Imports / Exotics / Muscle cars... Just overall Unique cars of all manufactures? Had a quick look at the site and is well presented, nicely informed and straight to the point facts. No bulls**t. But I found that it is similar to a lot of other car website/forums, Iam also a member on Fast Autos Forum (FAF) they shed light on all types of unique cars but I tend to find a huge bias towards muscle / euro cars as it is an American site and majority of the members are from USA. So they too would get a lot of sign ups/comments from Ford / Holden fans due to the nature of the engines they can relate to. Where as in my opinion SAU = Skylines / Imports majority. Got to remember the Skyline was only for domesticated market and then headed towards AUS, some to Europe and a niche went to USA. Not many have expirenced a Skyline (beside Japan / AUS) until now, due to the New R35 GTR (At the same time dropping the "Skyline" name). So its not even a Skyline just a Nissan GTR R35. Even then when the R35 GTR started hitting FAF, a lot of nit picking / arguing / 911 GT3 and Corvette comparisons, led me stop talking on FAF. Members just did not see what the cars good for and kept saying 911 GT3 is the best, Corvette absolute monster car ect. Either they did not believe the GTR R35 will crack the USA / Euro market or just pure bias to USA and Euro cars. So Iam trying to say that Skyline enthusiast have found their website/forum (Skylines Australia / Skylines Downunder ect) and tend to stick to it. Well at least we got members who actualy drive Skylines and have a better idea on what they are on about rather than just reading magazines / internet / video games and car dvds. My thoughts

The way I see it, the Eclipse GSX: AWD model equipped with a 210 hp (160 kW) turbocharged 2.0 L 16-valve DOHC Mitsubishi 4G63 engine was the only decent one. The later models, I guess for what it is, was OK but not a fan of FWD. Also, Iam not to sure how much it is to import one in but if the cost all add up with doing the Left hand to Right hand drive covnersion, I would happily go for an EVO IX or EVO X.

HAHA!! You trying to get him to pay you for some graphics. I like you subtle sales pitch. But interesting what you said about painting the bonnet black so you will not have the sun glare. Painting the bonnet black can look good tho. I saw a white R32 GTS-T with black bonnet, doors and boot lid. Had a bit of a colour patten happening but it has to be consistent too.

Try wreckers. Import dealers which stock aftermarket parts... Also if you like that style of rims and can't get a hold of the Veilside's, try the Nismo LMGT2...

If you over fill the oil, it will just burn off. But if its large amount, just drain it and check the level after an hour or so and top up if needed.

Looks nice as! Nice red coloured brake caliper too! Goes well + the black colour car. BTW did you need spacers?

Why is the R32 measured in HP and the rest in PS? 186 kW sounds about right. SAU member gtrzillar had his Stock GTR R32 dyno at RE Customs at the Dyno Day, 1st March 08, he hit 185.5 kW at all four wheels with a shitty compliance cat at the time. I read the GTR R32 makes about 243 kW at the flywheel = 325 HP = 330 PS. Mind you, the car loses about 20-25% power through the drivetrain as I have been told. (Clarification needed) "While the published figures from Nissan were quoted as 206 kW (276hp), practical tests showed the car had a factory power output of closer to 330 PS (325 hp) at the flywheel. The lower published figure was Nissan's response to the need to abide by a gentleman's agreement between the Japanese auto manufacturers not to release a car to the public exceeding 280 PS (276 hp) of power output." - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Skyline_gtr This power output should be the same for all the GTR R32, R33 and R34 I can only expect the power to hit 260 kW 350 HP at the flywheel if it was the R34 GTR N1 engine = V-Spec II Nür and R34 M-spec Nür models due to their twin turbos running 1.1 Bar Boost.

Just take it easy. I see a few 1st time GTR drivers tend to over steer the car cuz they are not use to the HICAS. Its the rear wheels turning 1 degree in the opposite direction as apposed to the front, to help with cornering. It's a bitch doing a 100km/h on a long stretch bend of freeway and the HICAS will start to kick causing the rear to pop out abit.

By looking at the Veilside website, unfortunatley the Veilside Andrew V rims are discontinued... DAMNIT!!! Price wise = A lot of $$$ They are one of my favorites too!
