I might hijack this thread temporarily so i can diagnose my problem. My bleed valve is currently not really workin rite. I have a hose comin from my intercooler piping into the bleed valve, and then this into the wasgate actuator. Is this correct. At full antilock on the bv, i get stock boost, and at full clockwise, i basically get either uncontrollable boost or exactly the same as stock. I dont know wats goin on. It must not be correctly installed?? I just recently installed a FMIC, would this change anythin?

What u gotta understand is that its not as cheap as it sounds. So okay u do the turbo mod for 350 bucks. On a RB20, u will need to upgrade: Clutch, very expenisve, Internals, as Rb20 cant take as much power as rb25, Gearbox as rb20 g/box is prone to failure at higher power levels, upgraded fuel supply, and then a retune of ur ecu. Probably about 5g worth for it on a rb20.

I must wonder why the Japs bother with those tiny diameter piped roll cages. I mean what is the real point of having them. Is it to increase chassis rigidity or is it so that u can race? Is it a bad thing if ur car had/ or has a roll cage?

Hahah i love the repost. Mate yes, but shit loads of lag. Think about it, BOOSTD on a RB25 had full boost by aprox 3700-3900RPM when he installed the cam gear. This was when the Snout was at 51mm. By machining it to 53, it will increase lag, yet make more top end power and eliminate surge. So i cant say what full boost would be reached at now, but aproximate maybe 3-400RPM higher now in the rev range. So basically a RB25 will make fullboost with the cam gear at around 4300RPM im guessin. Imagine what fullboost would be like on an RB20, maybe 5000rpm?? It would be a lag monster.
