  1. Z tune is the more hardcore tune (basically turns the Nissan into like a M3 CSL - a track based car without making it totally useless for the street). S is the "docile" one with mainly suspension and body tweaks. Engines get better breathing. R is somewhere between the S and the Z.
  2. what's ester synthetic?
  3. wilch - that would be the norm. There was a thread about it a little while ago, the results were all pretty similar.
  4. condition of the rims? (ie. any scratches / gutter rash?) what tyres? any pics? PM me please as I'm very interested.
  5. I'll make this on the 13th as it gives people more time to respond etc...
  6. ahhh now I understand. Congrats!

  8. Use either 8100 or 4100 turbolight. But seeing as though you have a R34 GTT it's probably better to use the fully synthetic stuff (8100)
  9. is the air horn a FIMM? if so I'll take it
  10. go baby go! oh how i miss her...
  11. I wouldn't be putting TRUST in the same boat as Hybrid, IMO they're just as good as A'PEXi, HKS, Blitz, ARC etc. To me Hybrid is like a knockoff brand. GTR intercoolers are probably the best stock ones from the JDM. They're good for around 300kw at the wheels. The problem with this is that piping isn't included. And with the cost of having the piping made up a bolt on kit would probably be around the same price but without the hassle of having to get parts seperately. Kits are around including shipping are around $1500 but if you stalk the forums you may be able to get one cheaper...
  12. :werd: the boat's never looked better
  13. still got the Mazda?
  14. a daily driver GTR and you can't afford insurance? think about it harder...if anything the cost of petrol will kill you. GTR's aren't exactly the most economic car to drive you know... got pics of the C-West kit on the GTT?
  15. not listing your mods is stupid...and they can null your policy... and to answer your question. R32 GTR (sorry I think R33's look overweight...R34's look like they're been working out and have turned the extra weight into muscle ) GTT's look docile unless they've been kitted.
  16. I went to Supercheap and they had a generic one (you need to look for it), does the trick alright. You could use zip ties and I've also done that
  17. ring up and ask about insurance. Everyone has a different case so they only way you'll find out is asking.
  18. the thing I'm most disappointed with famous is that other companys (NRMA, Just Cars etc... were going to give me a minimum 20% NCB. NRMA gave me 50% because of my driving record). Famous gave me 0% I'll have to wait and see what they're offering me this year before I decide on insurance...
  19. mate I can do that. My GTS-t front bar is a testament to my workmanship
  20. I learnt how to left foot brake in my old car. Tosh what colour is your MR2?
  21. pics? you may have some Volk TE37's (they're 6 spoke and can seem boring)... Sexiest and cheapest rims I've seen are ROH Drift R's. Deep dish rims on Skylines look damn hot!
  22. G'day Sciby! My baby looks hella sexy and it's dirty and anything...you just have to get the right angles
  23. I laugh at your lowness. Mine's at least an inch lower than that (barely a gap between the wheel arch and the top of the tyre) But in all seriousness Sydney roads are crap so the lower you go the more of the road you'll feel.
