  1. I've got the white boost gauge and EGT in my 32
  2. hey Matt what dyno was it run on?
  3. $3000 for the RB25DET (just jap) $1195 for the RB20DET You'll need a stronger gearbox (RB25) which is about $1000. Optional but recommended to replace the front brakes with R33 brakes as they're slightly bigger (and better). It'd be cheaper to buy a R33 front cut. Atleast that way you'd have some extra stuff to sell like the headlights and quarter panels. I'm not too sure how much they are as I can't find a price anywhere on the net (not really trying). Labour? a few slabs if you do it with your mates, you'll learn a lot from it as well. If you're going to get a mechanic to do it, might cost about $1000 if nothing goes wrong...
  4. ok got some VMX80 put in the gearbox on Saturday and I can definately say it's a lot better (done about 150km's since). It's a LOT easier to shift into 1st when stationary (the biggest problem). It hasn't completely got rid of it but it's heaps better. I'll give an update at the end of the week (about 400km's later). Got some heavyweight Redline diff oil put in as well. I have no idea if it's better or not but John (UAS) pretty much swears by it.
  5. R33 or R32 boxes? they are all working right?
  6. we have a spotted thead already http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ead.php?t=29195
  7. a RB26DETT will set you back about $6.5K for a good condition one. add another $1.1K for the RB25 gearbox plus labour if you don't plan to do it yourself. I'd personally get some cams and injectors as they are some relatively "cheap" mods that have a big impact. (Make sure your fuel is up to scratch).
  8. condition of front windscreen?
  9. high oil prices = high petrol prices I don't understand why Australia is really complaining. Our petrol is half of what they pay in the UK.
  10. mist - I just e-mailed musecret and it'll cost me $390 for the lines. Did they install it for you or did you have to use someone else?
  11. if they're not the same sound then what is it?
  12. yep, I'm planning to change my gearbox oil this weekend. But I'm not sure what I should use. I'd like to get Redline Shock Proof but it's a bit expensive at $20 a bottle (about $100 all up).
  13. mate, I've got 2 BOVs hooked up at the moment (stock plumbback and Blitz SS) and I get the flutter sound. Explain that. Is my BOV on too tight? No, as I can still hear the air pass out through the Blitz BOV... A pod filter makes a world of difference.
  14. replace your stock airbox with a pod filter. You'll hear the ch ch ch sound easier without having to replace your BOV. I did this and it sounds freaking mad when I take my foot off the gas slowly. I've got an A'PEXi Power Intake (pod filter) and I've been told it's one of the loudest.
  15. would you be willing to ship the front bar to Sydney? (I'm not too sure of the cost).
  16. mate I'm fairly sure that GT-R suspension doesn't fit on GTS-t suspension. if they do fit (if you can find out) I've got a set of Bilsteins that might interest you.
  17. can I have some more details. I'm a little clueless with "Project Mu"
  18. If you're going to remove the front bar then you'll have to remove the headlights.
  19. I'm looking to upgrade my brakes a little. I want to get braided brake lines but I have no idea where to go or how much they'll cost. Can someone point me in the right direction please? Thanks.
  20. where do you get custom rails made?
