Nope, if it's got a missfire it's probably coilpack or plug related.... My 34 did it (I think most do eventually), IF it is a missfire you have you can grab a set of coilpacks and plugs and be good to go.... You SHOULD be ok.... If your not confident and don't have anyone thy can help you diagnose just record it and post it to be sure I am not leading you astray

What was fixed to prevent it?

Need to clarify if it's a knock or a miss man! If you don't know yourself then record the sound and upload it so the guys have a chance to help... Is the car shaking/missing? If that's the case it should be a simple fix hopefully...

I think mine and Kurtis's feel different and are pretty similar setups.... Maybe one day we will run em up on the same dyno and see what the rollers say

I'm doing mine in the next few days, it takes a day yes, but it saves $500 so it's not a bad idea to have a crack, in saying that I don't suggest you try unless you get someone experienced to make sure it goes together correctly etc..... It is good to have it up high but I use double stands when I do gearboxes on the ground as I don't trust them when u wriggle the phuck outta the thing to get it out.....

Hey Guys, Getting rid of some stuff, PM me if interested as i tend to lose my FS threads First up - 275 40 18 Falken tyres x 2, look to be in good condition with plenty of tread, slight wear on the middle and shoulders but still good - Price $120.00 Second - R34 GTT standard airbox with Apexi panel filter - Price $180.00 (Currently at a mates place and he is pretty busy so it may take a few days to get) Third - R34GTT engine cover and brackets etc of my engine - Price $40.00 Fourth - R34GTT 310mm front rotors, were supplied with car so not sure of condition - Price $5.50 so i can buy a Schooner Fifth - R34GTT stock swaybars, maybe upgrade for earlier model (no idea) both front and rear in good condition - Price $100 for both Sixth - 2 x 5pt Drift harnesses new in bags, purchased them with the cage bit will not be using them anytime soon - Price $250 for both Seventh - R34GTT turbo exhaust manifold and shield etc - Price $50 (will see what i can find in terms of heat shield etc as i wont be using them) Couldn't be bothered typing up anymore so i will post up the rest when i get some motivation. Old 253's and low tech stuff may be that simple but i cant see an RB25 being that simple due the clearances etc........But hey, prove me wrong Good luck either way.......... 2ND hand motor seems the simplest!

Got a clutch rated to 330kw or something that is now welded to my flywheel as i tried to go over the recommended rating by 30kw lol.....1500kms of that and i now have no clutch at all...... For a $1100 clutch it wasnt worth the 5000kms i got out of it, if i was not such a tight ass i could have sold it and upgraded but i thought along the same lines you are...... I now know with ALL mods to do the right the first time, it cost more down the line doing it twice!!

It will be your concern when you start pushing more power and drive it on a track etc....... The HD is only rated to 260kw isnt it?

The cushioned button is near stock feel and rated higher in terms of power....... Although it wasnt rated to my power........ Ill have pics up when i pull the gearbox out tomorrow
