  1. I have one of these in my 34 but an taking it out as i deleted traction control when i went FFP, i will be fitting it to a mates car. Just to let you know these work faultlessly! Great little idea!
  2. Saturday is the plan mate Time not important until we have an idea of attendance. So far there is 5 i think
  3. I promise NOT to get lost in the bush this time
  4. We took it upon ourselves to create a bit of a Newcastle scene as there is a lot of Sydney based activities which are hard for some of us to get too. The suggestions in this thread are great! Cruises - We all love cruising! Hillclimbs - Had a chat with one of the MG car club guys and they seem pretty active, can SAU join forces for some events? Go-Kart - Enduro would be awesome but i would probably have a heart attack Tech Nights - Havent attended one yet but love learning stuff! Service days - I have the space to offer but dont have a hoist as yet, or proper power to the shed Texi - Although i only got one run in anger i still smiled at the skids all day, WELL organised event Track days - I guess we have SAU Nats which will keep most occupied, also going to do skids at Powerplay (can we get an SAU NSW crew to make an appearance?) Meet'n'Greet - I think Marsbars events will be perfect for this, really want to get to one BUT we have about 20 guys up here in Newy and not many will make the trip, we need a North meets South meet AND a big thanks to those who make SAU NSW possible
  5. Check the Newy thread you nut! Come to dinner............
  6. Sounds Suss Tayden Hey Guys, Alex is back for the weekend (working in QLD) so i am organising dinner at Billabongs just to catch up, Gaz is coming in the freshly sprayed S15 and Andrew is tagging along too. https://plus.google.com/105555925212485235969/about?gl=au&hl=en All you can eat buffet and the food is normally pretty decent... If you wanna tag along just let me know as ill need to make a booking
  7. Mines not that exciting below 4k, yours will react different I reckon BUT I reckon it'll be an awesome addition to your setup
  8. R34GTR wing with Mines extensions for the 34GTT, looks tough without being Bakemono spec!
  9. Hey Alex, YES, it has been done plenty of times before so you are in luck Have seen both the 52mm and the 60mm done successfully. I am looking to put some blue stepper motor gauges in mine in the near future so maybe do a DIY thread on it so its fresh (If you search you will find 2 existing threads on this to give you a hand with it)\ Cheers Mat
  10. Yeah very similar to our comparison, which is a good gain for the price....
  11. Thats what i was getting at above man, our setups are nearly identical.... The only difference is the cams (actually i have a full exhaust which may hold mine back a little) but it shows the power does increase with no loss of response as far as i can see.
  12. The Tomei Poncams are great value for money..... Mine and Ian's setups are near identical yet i have cams and his are stock (This is NEO so still relevant as a comparison i guess), he makes peak power of 345kw i make peak power of 360kw and the boost curve looks very very similar however i think mine has a touch more midrange. My car idles like its dead stock as the idle is set at 900rpm and there is no lumpiness or anger to be heard. YES i have a HKS exhaust cam gear too.
  13. Mate you will be fine, you need to follow the RTA guidelines the best you can when modifying your car BUT you have a great car to modify and enjoy... My car is making awesome power and is legal Db, has all of the boxes ticked in terms of legality... I still need an engineers certificate though which you may need eventually.... If you want to drag race go to the WSID Wednesday off street drags, any car can enter and no race license needed Next door you have Eastern Creek or Sydney Motorsport Park and there is plenty of drift etc happening there.... Join SAU NSW, best club Also, wanna thrash your car off street, you have events like powerplay on November 3 etc
  14. Already reported the guy after the 5 or so FS threads that were similar....... OP sorry to post off topic, the bar you are after has been seen in the FS section a few times but i dont think they come up all that often, ill keep an eye out for you and report back if i see one
  15. If your alignment etc is spot on there is no reason you cant get that sort of milage.... If your car is stupidly low will full sik camber etc then it doesnt matter what tyre you run you will end up with wearing issues!
  16. My skyline understeered like a pig with Federal 595 SS, swapped to KU36 with no change to alignment or anything and the car was awesome! The "Semi Slick" term is thrashed on the forums but they are not a true semi slick.... Depends how many kms you want to get out of a tyre, also depends how much you wanna spend.
  17. I missed it too, but that is my own fault!! But there should be plenty of cruising happening now that the Newy guys (and gals) are all active here on SAU, awesome bunch!!
  18. My NEO has the exhaust cam gear and poncams, was adjusted slightly i think!
  19. Oh let me help AGAIN - THE DO'S AND DONT'S OF THE SAU CLASSIFIEDS! Be warned that any threads that do not adhere to the following WILL be deleted without any prior warning. Key point - Post in the RIGHT section. WTB is WTB section, and FS in FS section. Post in the wrong section, your thread will be locked, its pretty basic common sense Private Sellers 1. When starting a new thread, you must include a set price, or at the very least a ballpark figure that you are looking for. EOI's are not permitted, if you want to auction your gear then use e-bay 2. Clearly state what what it is you are selling, the condition of the parts being sold, any model specific information, your location, contact details and wether you will ship interstate. If the items are not as they as described upon arrival and a resolution not met. You will potentially fall under, and be added too, the bad trader listing 3. No continuous thread bumping! - If you insist on continually bumping your thread, your bumps will be deleted and if it continues, you will receive a warning from moderators 4. Post photos! - Where possible, add images to your post. This is by far the best way to show off the items you are selling and give any potential buyers the best indication as to their condition etc. Posting photos will also cut out the "pics please" comments and help you to sell your items faster and easier 5. If you have multiple items for sale, post them all in a single thread! - do not create new threads for each item. A single thread is much easier to manage and helps reduce the amount of clutter in the classifieds section! 6. No posting on behalf of others! - If your mates want to advertise their parts here on SAU, tell them to register - If you dont own it, dont post it for sale. 7. No external links! - Do not post links to items being sold on e-bay, or other forums. If you wish to start a thread advertising the same items on SAU, you must include all details and price in your thread. Asking people to refer to e-bay for more info is not acceptable. If you're too lazy to copy and paste the details on here, your thread will be deleted. 8. Your for sale thread must include a valid contact number, name and email address. 9. DO NOT delete the original advertisment post in For Sale threads, even if the item is sold. Failure to adhere to this rule will result in the revokation of the ability to edit your own posts. 10. Multiple Threads - If you have more than one item to sell, use one thread only. DO NOT create one thread per item. If this is done, Mod/Admin will merge your threads without notice/warning. Having half a page of single item sales is pointless and clogs the forum.

  23. I d the same issue and when JEM pumped fuel up to it they leaked, they ended up changing the O rings to the correct size... (the workshop that fit mine were retards)
  24. My original tuner was a fkn retard! Shit tune, bad starting, poor fuel economy and much lower power than expected for the setup.... Went to JEM and have never been happier with the service, passion for cars and attention to detail... The guys are great!!
