  1. For the SAU Newcastle guys we have - Caltex - Swansea Caltex - Charlestown Caltex - Hamilton Which isnt bad considering the Central Coast only has Caltex - West Gosford so far.....
  2. Thread dig Hey guys, i posted before mine was fitted as this thread worried me and guess what????? Mines got issues Mine will work when its left hanging, but if it is bolted to the body it wont, i can only assume it is now a dry solder/wiring issue but was hoping some pics or something can be put up so i can have an attempt to fix it myself..... $600 boost controller new in the box and it has this problem
  3. Hey mate, as it is only a low pressure hose you can just get it matched at a place like Enzed or something easily enough..... Although if you want a proper replacement one Blitz_26 (Ryan) has been parting out an R34 on here for a while and probably has one spare that he could sell you Hope that helps...
  4. Hey mate, thanks for the link... We might be able to get a gathering for the roadtrip down depending on how much notice etc... We could do a Old Pac or Wisemans cruise on the way down/back to avoid the boring freeway drive...
  5. Hey Adam, Cant tell from the pic, but if those guages are blue then send me a PM, if they are white then nevermind Chasing blue ones and too lazy to order them through ebay lol
  6. Thanks Martin And as for the GAB, are they rebuild able, have warranty and got local support?
  7. Could be something different and is of interest!! Nice call with the road behaviour too!! If there is updates etc and you havent seen us post in there make sure we get a reminder
  8. Mines setup so if the boost controller or gate fail for some reason it'll dump fuel in, pull timing out and then if I haven't backed off it will boost cut... So it's pretty safe
  9. Mine aren't too stiff, it's just the rears that shat themselves.... Really looking forward to these now.... Is there a recommended dampner setting? I read some are stiffer in the fronts?
  10. Unless you have the proper equipment and plenty of experience i would advise against self tuning... Your better off taking it to a tuner to look at... Like The one helping you in this thread
  11. Who was the one goose to vote "I don't like it" What a crazily awesome build guys!!!
  12. I had the V1 and it was OK, it did tend to bleed off boost though... In saying that, they are a good bang for buck controller, have you got boost cuts etc setup in your ECU? Just for safety?
  13. There are a few options out now and so far they all seem pretty successful.... They are generally MAP.... Mines not P&P so not the best option As for the clunky, I wouldn't know without hearing or feeling it, it's possible but more likely driveline related?
  14. Critical weight reduction!
  15. At higher boost levels every psi is important so if your gunna go in the cheap with a manual valve make sure it's setup 100% as you don't want to lunch your motor by going cheap with boost control..... In saying that I spent fkn heaps on a HKS controller and have issues so that kinda stuffs up my point a bit
  16. I don't think giving them attitude helps, they have enough assholes to deal with on a daily basis... I'll Just play nice when the time comes, and then I guess try get it all passed the legit way
  17. If your going to that effort get a flex capable ecu and do a proper flex tune, so simple and less risk of any issues.... As for engine mounts, unless they are worn or Broken then leave them as is...
  18. Your on fire as usual guys haha..... Benji is getting ready for racewars
  19. Did you have other coilovers in the car prior? For a comparison? I've been running Teins and I was told they are similar.....
  20. Worst thing is you walk through carparks and see all the cars with bald tyres, rust holes and all sorts of messed up stuff, not one would be pulled over for EPA or Defects like we get targeted... And most people modify their imports for improvement in handling and braking etc.... It's a crap system!
  21. Yeah I've got a bit on too but may organise a meet for the guys anyway... We have a few new cars joining us on the next one Waiting in coilovers and a few other bits mate but found them cheap so it's worth the extra week wait
  22. Nice!! 2nd is a bit of a handful eh? love it.... Was that the guards scrubbing in the vid?
  23. Seems to be a winner, all positive feedback do far
