  1. Hey, Bit of an unusual request BUT I'm looking for someone who is relativley local to me who has a hi-flowed turbo from Hypergear on their R33 GTS-t. Not fussed whether it's a R33 turbo that's been hi-flowed or a R34 turbo that's been hi-flowed, as long as it's on a manual R33 GTS-t. Basically, I'm putting my car back to stock (under bonnet appearance wise anyway) so would like to know how responsive and how much kick these hi-flows have first-hand. I'm happy to reimburse you for your time with petrol money or lunch or whatever. Otherwise, happy to take you for a spin in my GTS-t if money and food doesn't appeal to you Cheers.
  2. Shit, you guys have it rough and need to maintain your skylines a bit more. I can get 45 mins easy before any permanent damage occurs. However, this one time I tried 50 mins but my laptop alerted me that there would be damage to my manifold so me being the idiot I am, told it to "Shut Up!!" and slammed the screen down. Within seconds, the floorboard to my car fell off. Which was such a pain in the ass, cos I almost had the bald dude I was racing
  3. Cheers Basti
  4. Sounds good mate. Then after that, stroking it to 2.3 litres and T51R SPL turbo yeah?
  5. Ahhh yeah, 270rwkw in a 1300kg (if that) package would be something. Good to hear you're enjoying the E7 though, absolute rockets when you get it right. And f-ing quick still if you don't haha
  6. ^^ pretty much what the dealership was doing, all the way to the bank lol How's the E7 treating ya? Must've been a big leap from a S14 into an Evo I reckon.
  7. Since you're from Frankston, there's a place called "Peninsula Smash" and it's off Hartnet Drive. They are very reasonably priced, do a top job and usualy finish jobs early. Have worked on both my R33 and SS-V so I can vouch for them. Not sure if Vu from DT Panels does panel beating, but maybe give him a bell? he does a top job too, but is in Springy.
  8. Thanks mate! Hahaha nah, not interested in the fulli hektik look. Wanted to make it look clean and simple like the ol' 33 Originally wanted a basic VE Omega as a daily, but though "nah, might as well get a SV6", to which I thought "If I'm considering a SV6, I should probably consider the SS". Finally, I was like "If I'm gonna get a SS, it might as well be the top of the range SS-V". Biggest upsell WIN for Holden dealership. Biggest money-saving FAIL by me
  9. WARNING!! Commodore pictures below!! The daily: The weekender:
  10. Haven't posted a pic of my 33 in a while, but this is how she sits at the moment (and probably forever, cos she's up for sale ) Sold the BBS wheels and got my hands on some 19" Enkei RPF-1s. Also a better picture with the clear front indicators:
  11. I'll be your first client
  12. ^^^ Hahahaha one of the best quotes from the movie
  13. Still looking/wanting
  14. Hey, Bit of a long shot on SAU but hoping SAU members have mates who might be selling. Basically, I'm after a 3" X-Force catback exhaust to suit a VE SS sedan. I'm happy to pay for postage if it works out reasonable, but otherwise, I'm located in the SE suburbs of VIC and happy to travel to pick up. Mild steel or stainless doesn't matter. As long as it's not rusted out and has holes in it, I'd be keen. Either PM, reply here or shoot me a text on 0402 732 860. Cheers.
  15. Sure is Terry. Hopefully it helps attract more enthusiasts and help it grow. Again, without SAU my car wouldn't be where it is today so hopefully other Skylines owners out there who are looking to go down the same mod path as me read the article and sign up and do the research cos the knowledge base on these forums is HUGE. Thanks ARTZ! Haven't seen you in a while mate, need to catch up soon
  16. Yeah, I think that's the one Seano. Just remembered, the numberplates were something like RBE85 or something? Either way, tough car. Thanks cul8er, good to hear you're getting a feature too! Looks like SAU has quite a few feature cars floating around
  17. ....... yeah, and that too...
  18. Hahaha yeah, that's all good mate. Probably won't happen till about late Feb-early march anyway. Thanks mate, hopefully she sells. Otherwise, I'ma raid your bank LOL
  19. Unfortutanley the time has come for the car to go Paul, so if within a couple of months it's not sold as is, I'll put it back to stock. If you're interested mate, we can easily work something out when the time comes
  20. Thnaks Stao. How does their response compare to the standard non-highflowed units? Roughly when do they hit full boost?
  21. Hi Stao, Long time no speak! As you already know, I'm currently running a top-mount Garrett GTX3076R but looking to return the car to stock-ish to sell and was wondering what the boost response is for the hi-flowed R33 standard turbo and the hi-flowed R34 turbo like compared to the stock R33 turbo.
  22. Haha that's exactly it mate, never have the time cos we're too busy under the bonnet haha Yep, went the Plazmaman plenum but gotta agree, it's huge!
  23. Sorry Frosty, I never bothered to make a build thread I guess it would've come in handy as the car started stock and I've noticed a few people in the FI section ask about top mounting turbos, front facing plenums etc.
  24. Cheers Ben. Credit goes to Vu and his boys at D&T Panels for getting it all fitting right Thanks GirlTORQUE, greatly appreciated. Glad it's having a positive impact on people haha
  25. Cheers Cal, sounds like it's just a direct swap then. Thanks heaps mate!
