  1. And get some agg pipe going to the pod. It will allow it to suck in clean fresh COLD air. I did it on my and on a cold nite, bloody hell did I notice the difference.

  3. Well that rules out my 2nd Theory first one should still be right. Think of what a half cut looks like. Its just the front end. Get a whole wrecked skyline, a welder, some paint, whalla!
  4. So yeah back on topic... What I have is stock, with nice exaust. Prob GTR fuel pump, nice big pod, a bit of 3inch pipe going from the front bar to right in front of it. Bleedvalve at 12-13psi, depending on the weather (found it was faster on this than 14psi, I guess because of effeciency) Malpassie, and, a catch can, which I personnally found no gain from. Anyway, this got me 195rwhp. All the mods I found a dencet boost from, I think I have spent $300... But I did get stuff cheap, and a fair bit was already on the car. And with the auto... You can spool on the line better, and potentally get a better launch. You want faster times on the strip, let the tyres down!
  5. Ok, the Yankys got s13s rite? In both 180sx format, and silvia. So put two and two together. WAY too much money to get a skyline over there, and converted (look at fatf, skyline in that rhd...) So, my guess would be 180 front, etc, skyline rear as thats not different for either hand drive. Then they just change a few more pannels, and walla! Either that or full 180sx, with the R32 pannels, with a fair bit of effort it would be doable.

  8. Ahhh, now I see! I couldnt really find that out on the DBA website. So 4000s in slotted would be the wepon of choice.

  10. So whats the difference between the DBA slotted, and DBA 4000s??? Or isnt there a difference at all?

  12. BLAH!!! What are you thinking crazy man! Just get a dodgy compliance!!! BTW my compliance cost $1200, and I had the intrusion bars rivitted in, not welded in, so they had to be redesigned.
  13. Car: CA31 88 Cefiro. Engine: RB20DET Power: ahhh, read the sheet... Mods: bleedvalve 12psi, 32psi fuel pressure (which as you can see = bit too rich) 3 1/2inch??? exaust, ceramic clutch, Jun lightweight fly wheel, pod, bit of 3inch bit of pipe up to pod, dodgyish catch can. I think thats the most of it. Where: Murcry Motorsports SAU dyno day, so on dyno dynamics shootout mode. RUN DONE IN 4th GEAR!!!
  14. I was getting about 570kms to a tank, giveing it a bit here and there, not too much but. I think that was using about 55L, so do the sums, its not too bad. *then I changed a few things, and it went down quick...*

  17. Doesnt quite do it for me, but just put the clear ceffy lights on, and its pretty simlar. And an s14a front I dont think would work, it would majorly throw out the lines of the car.
  18. And out of interest, whats the fuel economy like now??? With rising petrol prices this is quickly becoming a concern. But if its a better tune, it should technically run more effiently.
  19. Considering my turbo knowledge is pretty much nothing still, what turbo would you be looking at to get that top end pull? As thats what Im after atm, and Im HOPEING with the extra weight of the cefiro it might help kill a bit of the lag (although would probabaly be worse off boost/down low)
  20. What about just a retrim? With say some bits cut out and put in? Or is that going to be too exxy? Just another thought anyway.
  21. Ok, I found out I have a CA31 cefiro. Its factory manual, turbo, with ABS also... So yeah, Im pretty lost on that one. BTW its a december 88 model.
  22. Yeah, I have read a few times 200kgs is about 30hp, not sure if its right or not but hey. Id say diff, and suspension would help. Mines a bit easy to get the arse out at times. Like Im almost never trying to get it taily, and it just starts to kick out, fun but yeah, can draw attention.
  23. Few questions. When? Is this a group buy thing, or will this deal be around for a while? Can you get the boost controlers also? and how much for them if you can? And basically the same questions as everyone else has asked.
  24. I got quoted $3500 from just cars, without all the mods on the car... as we didnt know what they all were at the time. And then still only worth $10k, after you add in the premium, the excess, and them keeping the car and the rego... you do the sums. Fire and thieft I didnt bother with either, as well in QLD at the time the cars 'value' was only $4000, once again, after premium, and excess, and them keeping the car and the rego, I felt *I'll just get a good alarm, and park it where I can see it or here it* So I got 3rd party property, as well, I dont want to pay $100 000 fixing some dudes Enzo. BTW, that was on Ps, lost a total of 4 points, which they considered a licence loss, even tho I was on a good behaviour licence. And at the time I was 19.
  25. #1 People would stop calling them mazdas or toyotas, I personally feel this would be a positive step in the right direction. #2 The little spare parts will be easier to get a hold of, you will be albe to ring somewhere up, and they will know what the hell your talking about, and not think its a 4x4. And well, I reckon if you still went to a small town, people would go 'ooooh ahhhhh' at it But realistically, they might become more popular, but still being 15yo+ not everyone is going to want one, and being so old alone limits the supply of them.
