Queenslanders are just lazy, and hate paperwork. I've heard/seen numerous cases of people getting axed pretty hard. All qld mod plated etc and still got done due to no engineers certs for that state. As mentioned above diff states have diff laws. I think your car looking a bit more out there than some others if you got a bad cop on the wrong day you wouldn't be having a fun time of things. Thing is, I dont know exactly how these people were behaving when they were pulled up, but they did cop fines for stuff that was mod plated for QLD.

Haha thats another one we thought of kinda... Get some cat food, some baked beans tins, and some steam. Carefully remove baked beans lables with steam, and re-attach to cat food tins. The only unfortunate thing is we dont have tents... We just have a large community hall hired out. But alfoil, soda bulbs, and sparklers are definately on the list

Dude, thats where I went. Trust me when I say sell what you have, buy something new. 12months 3 of my shocks died, they have a 30 day warrenty. And low and behold they were keioffice. Im happy for you to throw your money away, but mine were also rebuilt to suit a much softer spring which should have increased their life. I also never had the car on a track, off road, and I NEVER drifted it. They still died from normal every day road use. I now have new bilsteins in it, and they are 100% better. And Im not the only one.

Sell them all, get new stuff hey. That is my advice from having rebuilds done myself. Maybe get the bilsteins rebuilt, the others flog them off. Let it be someone elses problem.

What are some good camping pranks? Like we worked out the zippy ties around feet then make a lot of noise, the rubber snake, and the old jelly in the pillow trick... But we want some good ones!

Two things to look at here. The condition of the box, you would expect an RB25 box to be in better condition as in most cases they are newer, and they are stronger. That and where your rb20 box is coming from, they might have done the same thing you are thinking of... The other is resale (might not be thinking of it now but you should), I can tell you now if you car was identical to another price, colour extras etc, but yours had the rb20 box and the other was rb25... I wouldnt be buying your car.

I'll share a story. My mechanic had to work on one, quite a bit. He liked it the first 5 times as he made so much money removing the engine, by the 3rd time he had sussed it out pretty good. After then he just got sick of doing it. At $1200 a pop (removale and putting it back) it aint cheap. Thats just before being able to do any work on it... Note the over 5 times... Then someone rang him up, and asked if a 300zx would be a good car to modify, and would he be able to work on it. My mechanic said, if you buy one of those stupid things, do not come here. Seriously they are the devils car. But still better than a Lada.

I think a master cyl rebuild might be a good idea... But ask your mechanic. I dont think the brake booster stopper is the logical next move. Make sure everything is working as it should first.

I have one of them funky dr drift chips. I dont have that many mods but he always seemed quite confident that if I ever did go to town on it he could retune it to suit. Attached dyno sheet. Notice the afrs, and the general smoothness of the curve.

No offence Shane (as much as its not a bad set up) locking the wheels means one of 2 things. You hit the brakes too hard, or you have crap tyres (or both so I guess that is 3...)

SDT... Perks of the job (also get my skills up to do the job better) Its the advanced course, with normal person cars. But yeah, what SAU were doing was just hiring the skidpan and lmva, which is different to an advanced defencive driving course, which would have been in keeping with the 'spirit' of mt cotton as they see it. Trust me Im not having a go, I think Mt Cotton have done the dirty with SDT etc and kicking people off the skidpan. But it might be away around it for some of us. I still think they will kick anyone off who is making a lot of noise and holding the slide throughout the whole pan. Just the guy might not be there if we arent listed as a car club... Either way I think most of us now would get more out of the Morgan Park training.
