Theres a long, long history at Nurburgring, and the Japanese have to be a part of it. They're a major car manufacturing nation so it's a good "hunting ground" so to speak, eg: Nissan can challenge Porsche etc on their home turf (with the GT-R... not just individual lap times, but the Nurburgring 24hr endurance race etc).

Right on the money there...The WRX is a popular car to tune, I mean, me and Troy have seen more than our fair share of modified ones on our weekly escapades down Route 43, 171, 2, the Wangan etc... but I think alot of the 'hype' is drowned out because of the much much more popular Lancer Evolution 7/8 (for cicuit mainly, even drag in some cases). That includes freight to my house, I'm not gonna go around during my lunch break looking for shops where these things where they might be sold in quantity, so there is a 750 yen flat freight charge to my house. Still interested? Just as a side note, that GT-R cost me A$53 with freight... thats right, you're paying $54 from Japan - Australia (EMS) for an under 2kg box.
