  1. I'm sure with the right contacts you could check out practically every part of HKS HQ... but thats the thing, if you just just rock up unannounced I'm sure they'd just say "muri" (impossible/no can do) if you ask them about the Zero R.
  2. Thanks rb25! Isn't it funny how that the people who have seen the V35 in the metal like them, and those that haven't, don't?
  3. I saw one in Perth about 3-4 years ago... it was turbo, but I didn't think it was the L20ET, I could've been mistaken.
  4. You mean the ones that aren't in your post?
  5. I'd say they are out the back of this place... ...in Fujinomiya City, Shizuoka-Ken, Japan. So now you know where they are, are you gonna buy/borrow/steal one?
  6. I agree there, as ex_zero said, pictures don't quite do the V35 justice. Seeing them in person (coupe and sedan) practically every day, I find that theres very little similarity between the Fairlady Z and the V35... strange, but true. But a heck of a lot of Japanese cars are trying to do that soft-hard edged look which doesn't always work, eg: Teana/Maxima. The current Mark II looks BMWish? Or the JZX100?
  7. ...oh sh!t... :headspin:
  8. Hey Carlo, Best go to an International ATM (they should be near where you are), or suss out where a Citibank is near your hotel, and use your Cirrus cash or credit card there and withdraw in bulk... Places like Up Garage *should* accept credit card, but they aren't prepared for it, so you might be in for a 15min transaction... just pay cash.
  9. Dave, your missus and my missus will keep each other company won't they? ...fingers crossed! Theres nothing worse than a missus who's complaining while you're "working"... heh, heh
  10. Yeah, no rear spoiler is the way to go. Heres what I'm after specifically...
  11. R34>V35 I like 'em both!
  12. Pics are a definate... Color wise, I want the silver, with Matt Carbon 18" Work Emotion CR Kai's... ...like on this R34...
  13. Red... with the gunmetal R32 GT-R wheels looks the best IMO...
  14. I'll be getting one regardless of what SAU naysayers...well... say!!!! Btw, my wife loves the V35... very European "cool" style she says, but she also likes the hard-mofo R32 GT-R. Tough decision, but I'm gonna go with the V35.
  15. The VQ35DE sounds quite exotic and pulls sooooo smoothly, it is really refined. I know a V engine configuration isn't a match for a sorted straight 6, but keep in mind the weight distribution side of it. Excellent weight distribution coupled with a refined, high powered NA V6 and you've got a good package. Looks aside!
  16. Two flame posts from JimX and TOnyGTSt... All I can say guys is: wait till you drive one! I honestly believe Nissan have taken the Skyline successfully into the 21st century. Styling aside (hey, it was never going apeal to everyone... R33 remember!) I think the car as an overall package is right on the money.
  17. Thats great Geoff! Well done mate, much appreciated. I don't get to read english car mags that often...
  18. Cheers Geoff, the print is a bit small though...
  19. BAKAYAROU!!!!

    Parts shops in Tokyo

Hey Leewah, The only place I know of that (officially) sells "RH9" stickers is Fuji Dynamics. Unfortunately, they're not in Tokyo, but in the next prefecture, Kanagawa, in a place called Sumohara. Heres their map: But don't worry, if your gf can't make it out there, just order the stickers online from their website... /Rezz
  21. Some hot tips flying around in here! GTRboy: 1) Try a Honda orientated forum for more accurate relpies... makes sense, oui? 2) A company called Top Fuel in Mie-ken, Japan has been making strictly "bolt-on" (ie: no internal engine upgrades) for Hondas and Toyotas for years... 200kw at the fly is normal with an HKS 2510 on a B16A... but I don't officially know about this stuff, so I can't help any more, sorry.
  22. Talk about going out on a limb!Kakimoto Aero parts... ...and other Kakimoto stuff...
  23. It says "Sukairain no henshu - HKS ZERO-R('94) no kaisetsu inpuresshyon"... Which means "Explanation of the impression of the Skyline variety "Zero-R". Sorry about the crap translation... I did my best:(
  24. But the Z33 Fairlady Z (350Z) and and the V35 Skyline have sportiness, speed and handling, don't they? I think alot of people (in Aust/NZ at least) pass of the new (Japanese market) cars from Nissan without even seeing them in the flesh. You can only draw so much from a photograph. I disliked the V35 when it first came out, I couldn't make any connection between it, and the R34 it replaced. That was until I thoroghly inspected the V35 and had a ride in one. I think the V35 is a natural progression of the R34... it's hasn't gone soft or whatever... trust me! Add to that the March, Primera, Cima etc (which are all winners in my book), and you'll come to the conclusion that Nissan, although evolving, is far from declining as an exciting car maker.
