You've got R34 GT-R M-Spec skirts on your R33? -
You want linkage too??? ok... Check out the WGNC34 Stagea History... **Note the Series 1 WGNC34 was produced from 3/10/1996, and the Series 2 from the 31/8/1998. The Series 1 had the lower power out put from all engines, in paticular the RB25DET with 235ps. The Series 2 upped the power of the RB25DET (with help from NEO-6) to 280ps... the post August '98 models are the pick of the bunch obviously.

Nissan Prince Kanagawa produced only 7 (!!!) of these cars towards the end of '98 through to '99. Based on a standard ECR33 GTS25t Type M, Nissan Prince Kanagawa in asscociation with REINIK (Race and rally Engineering division Incorporated NIssan-Kohi) put together what is basically an RB25DET version of the Nismo 400R engine, minus the N1 Turbos labelled the RB-X. A full REIMAX 2.8L kit was used, giving what has been described as "wonderfully thick torque, that rises from 1600rpm like a demon...". Other areas of the car were also upgraded (ie: suspension, clutch, and ECU) although, like the 400R, it's interestting to note what wasn't upgraded, namely the transmission and the brake calipers/disks. A maximum 300hp on tap with plentiful torque made this car a pleasure to drive, and the 2.8L capacity (hence the "280" designation) is still available through REIMAX in kit form. The original selling price was 3,980,000 yen. /Rezz

All the rest are various 2WD and 4WD RB25DE and RB25DET combinations with different trim levels. All models came only in AT except the Autech Versions and the 2.5 25t RS FOUR S and the 2.5 Type-B wich was available with both AT and MT transmissions.

Alright, cheers mate... I'll watch this space.

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm........... They're quoting "1999" for the dark blue one... also that dark blue one must be the only dark blue one in existence... I'm not so sure about it. Anybody else think it's dodgy? The "LM blue" one looks the goods, but I've seen that thing on their website for a long time now (must something like 6 months), but I made that remark above referring to how scarce they are now. You just can't go out and find them at an auction.

I would gladly give the dude who thinks he can source a 400R 10,000 yen if he can find one for sale... hehehe! Whats up with these NZ guys thinking that 400Rs are out there...? NOPE. Fake or not-entirely-legit examples maybe... but the real deal?

Hakujin, you dissin' the guy? I bet sometime along the way , you've lusted after Ayumi Hamasaki...!!! ... I'm married to a Jap by the way... I know a yellow fever stricken guy when I see one!

Heheh, I thought all the laws we (they) have originated from England! Whatever the case, I've heard many a time that the ADRs are akin to the German TUV on severity... utterly pointless and there to protect the local car industry...

PranKs 24? Well Iiiiiiii'll be damned... Happy birthday Christian and I second what Merli said... thanks for the forums :D

How do you figure that? Of course it's still Evo... the driveline, engine, bodywork and interior (whats left of it) are all as Mitsubishi intended, with a number of parts upgraded. We're not talking about engine transplants, completely different suspension designs or re-designed bodywork.

Build date, Dave.. build date. There`s a 15 year law in Australia that allows cars to be imported that are over 15 years old that do not have to comply with the ADRs (Australian Design Rules) they have there. This means effectively that people can save $2000 - 3000 and not have to go through anything to dramatic to get the car registered. I'd say Paragons car was built in Sept/Oct '89...

Personally, I'd say come at the end of the northern summer, right Dave? Around August/September... it's not sooo hot and humid then, and all the ladies are still out with less clothing on. You can catch all the end of summer fireworks festivals, and generally it's a cheaper time to travel there (post August). If you manage to hang around long enough, you can catch all the end of year and start of the new year motorsport events too... As far as drift goes, the illegal stuff goes all year round (recommended), but you'll have to be more specific about where your going before I can answer your question in more detail regarding the D1 events. Same with the drags, although I do know of one place in Osaka where they have illegal drags practically every night, with Shop tuned cars showing up on the weekend occaisionally.

I hope you didn't ask that coz I typed "2 million"... that 2 mil yen converted to A$ is only A$25,182... Dave: cheers mate... when I get it I'll be sure to go on a road trip out your way!
-
Yes... I'd like to get a V35 350GT Coupe, but the missus won't allow for 2 million plus prices. It looks like I'll go for a 300GT sedan, or at the very least a 250GT.

Some more Stageas... Not too many heavily modified current ones getting about, but heres one anyway...

Well done Paragon!!!! How much did it set you back?

Once and for all.. who iz da king of drift?
Rezz replied to SeD's topic in Motorsport Discussion & Builds
"Hachi Roku" means: AE"86" Carolla Levin or Sprinter Trueno... theoretically, it could mean the whole line up of Carollas in that range, but all of them were quite dull compared to the Trueno/Levin.... so thats what people are referring to when they say "Hachi Roku". Going by the abundance of S15s in the D1 Championship, I'd say they are the current fav drifter in Japan... just ask Uchii who is the D1 driver for DRFT who lives around the corner from me.
