  1. I have to put something here in order to post the photos. From what I could gather there's more enthusiasm for modified cars now than there has been for years. There were probably more younger people there than older (me included lol) which was a good sign. It did seem like the record least amount of representation of the 90's era hero cars on display though. Like maybe one or two examples of S-chassis Nissans, and maybe 3 or 4 R-chassis. By comparison there were a lot of Civics from that era but in all there were about 10 - 12 EG/EK Civic Type R. Euro exotics are always there in large numbers, led by Liberty Walk...... say what you will about kids using markers to scribble on a Ferrari F40, it did seem like a stunt to infuriate Ferrari enthusiasts, or Ferrari itself. I wonder if there's something more to it. Either way LBWK have done some heinous things to a Lamborghini Miura this time. They should stop now.
  2. Echo the comments about the well preserved condition it's in. It has the aero bumper too for extra points. Nice car, and please keep it like that! 🙂
  3. Racing On Motorsport magazine this month features all racing BCNR33 Skyline GT-Rs from the JGTC-era to N1 category. Other articles include one featuring the GT300 class Daishin S14 Nissan Silvia: https://www.oemsoko.co.jp/products/racing-on-magazine-vol-534-racing-r33-gt-r
  4. Nice, love a good GTS-t. IMHO the factory body kit with the 'aero' front bumper is perfect. Can't improve on it unless it's a GT-R. But it looks like you changed it to the normal bumper?
  5. For something a little more serious, Davinci Resolve is about the best there is for free video editors. No expiration dates or watermarks, completely free.
  6. The door and bonnet gaps look very tight for such cheap models 👍
  7. Those car show concepts from the 2000's and 2010's like the Floria and IDx were brilliant and should've gone ahead, at least one of them. But neither Honda nor Nissan are thinking about affordable performance any more, which is truly sad. Even if Toyota's liquid hydrogen ICE development reaches the point where it's commercially viable and the infrastructure to support it, Honda/Nissan would have to wait until Toyota allow fee access to their patents to offer it with any smaller performance models they released to take advantage of it.
  8. Thanks for the feedback Brett, champion 🙂👍 Would you be able to take a few photos of both cars out of their packaging? I don't dare open any of the ones I have remaining in stock, as they are completely sold out in Japan and only available in small quantities on the used market with rather hefty mark ups.
  9. Edit: It's now known as "R Performance" and is still in operation.
  10. Just something I found searching for more info on Emotion R, apparently the ECR33 Skyline GTS25t was either originally black, or there were two of them, the black one being the original demo car, then building a white one which was part of the 1997-onwards (to at least 2008!) Cockpit Tatebayashi Tokyo Auto Salon booth demo cars. It appears that Emotion R closed down in 2008 and was declared bankrupt in 2010: http://bank-db.com/hasan/208365. Scan of a magazine with the black R33 from 1996: Wayback machine archived page from May, 2000: https://web.archive.org/web/20000529061027/http://www.emotion-r.co.jp/skyline.html Option magazine with a few photos from the Cockpit Tatebayashi booth at the Auto Salon from various years: 2002: http://www.jdm-option.com/photo/index.php?action=item&category_id=154&image_id=3507 2003: http://www.jdm-option.com/photo/index.php?action=item&category_id=137&image_id=3033 2005: http://www.jdm-option.com/photo/index.php?action=item&category_id=116&image_id=1831 In 2008 Cusco website mentions that the Cockpit Tatebayashi ECR33 was displayed at that year's Tokyo Auto Salon: https://www.cusco.co.jp/event/2008/12/post_735.html As of 2021 it appears that the ECR33 demo car ended up being exported to Florida, USA: https://rmcmiami.com/inventory/1996-nissan-skyline-r33-cockpit-tatebayashi-demo-car-big-te06-turbo-endless-brakes-lsd-450hp/ And finally here's Google streetview of the Emorion R garage in 2023 which is amazingly not only still there, but the showroom is still full of various parts in stock and funishings, etc.: https://maps.app.goo.gl/ttyEAZdZLyzermyT9 Apologies for nerding out a bit. I used to love doing this 20 years ago on SAU and got a bit nostalgic for a moment... 😅
  11. Try fabricating something like this and install it under the pedals? Not sure if it's legal or not....

  15. The VS Commodore was so sexy it could pull off the tri-spokes AND the novelty sized Supra style rear wing
  16. Can't help out with where you can get it in AU, however it's the Emotion R "Edge" aero kit for ECR33. (not to be confused with the Vertex Edge aero parts) Cockpit Tatebayashi's R33 demo car seems to be the only reference to this kit for the ECR33 on the Japanese web now. All other references are either for the Silvia or Z33 Fairlady parts. https://www.google.com/search?q=エモーションR EDGE&sca_esv=625157b32196c1a0&udm=2&biw=1920&bih=911&sxsrf=ADLYWILfULOdvzCFN-gREHMmyeYVcyv4nw%3A1734664822467&ei=duJkZ6iOHLWa0-kPpuTmwQE&ved=0ahUKEwioobCEsrWKAxU1zTQHHSayORgQ4dUDCBE&uact=5&oq=エモーションR EDGE&gs_lp=EgNpbWciGuOCqOODouODvOOCt-ODp-ODs1LjgIBFREdFSIwRUIwEWKwMcAF4AJABAJgBW6ABiASqAQE2uAEDyAEA-AEBmAICoAJXwgIEECMYJ8ICBxAAGIAEGATCAgUQABiABMICBBAAGB6YAwCIBgGSBwEyoAfyDg&sclient=img#imgrc=iKsl5vY-icfTtM&imgdii=kH40wcX2OvVavM

  20. There's a not inconsiderable amount of US muscle on Japanese roads if you keep your eyes/ears open. Anything from Hummer H2s to classics like C2 Corvettes. Here's three at a American diner style place called UK Wildcats cafe in Mukogawa in Amagasaki (just west of Osaka) https://maps.app.goo.gl/hUSch3fp6tPr6gpz9
  21. We have some genuine Japanese legally decommissioned car number plates now in stock 🙂 Add some legitimately obtained JDM style to your Skyline or other Japanese model, or simply as a garage/man cave decoration! About the 40mm hole: The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure & Transport in Japan recognised the popularity of keeping decommissioned plates among car enthusiasts and came up with a method to "destroy" (or render them unusable for street use) while still retaining their collectable/usable value for display etc. We have 40mm hole covers available to cover the hole nicely with a Sakura motif, which are also available in white in (very!) limited quantities, however they frequently sell out. Please let me know if you're wanting one or more of these and I'll check availability. The Sakura motif covers are more common. https://www.oemsoko.co.jp/products/genuine-decommissioned-japanese-vehicle-number-plate-set-su-7515 https://www.oemsoko.co.jp/products/genuine-decommissioned-japanese-vehicle-number-plate-set https://www.oemsoko.co.jp/products/genuine-japanese-vehicle-number-plate-400mm-hole-cover *Please note that we can't obtain particular number or area name (eg: "Gunma 500 Fu ・86") if requested. All plates are provided as they become available after decommissioning.

  23. This is mintox. I really like the subtle 'modern' style bits to make it look more... err, modern. 😄 Squint and it could be mistaken for a 90's C-class Benz.
  24. I love a good HCR32! Nice colour. Also those Bluebird hubcaps suit that Wagon R down to the ground
