    Genuine Nissan Parts

Ok everybody, I will get quotes back this week, just hang in there for a few days. Predator/BlackR32: If I put together a 'Respray pack', what rubbers houl be included? Front and rear window seals and...? Let me know because I think this is a good idea not just for people who want to respray, but also for people who are sick of the faded and crappy rubbers.
  2. Very few R32 GTS-t's were sold, most were 'Type M'. I've only seen one actual 'GTS-t' in Australia and 2 or 3 in Japan, ALL the rest (over 100) were Type M's. Such was the case that all turbo R33's are Type Ms... Anyway, the Type M gets Viscous LSD and 4-pot/2-pot calipers on bigger disks, and some interior things like climate control as was already mentioned. The 'aero bumper, side skirts and rear pods' were available across the range, and alot of Type M's had no body lit at all. So the body kit isn't a good way to see if you have a Type M. The bottom line is: You'd be crazy to get a regular GTS-t over a Type M unless the GTS-t had 000,000km's on it. The Type M's were most popular because of the brake package and LSD, which put it closer to the (then) R32 GT-R in some areas. The regular GTS-t is basically a GTS with a turbo bolted onto it... nothing more.

Ok no probs. Could you send an email to [email protected] with the order? Posting on here easily gets lost. Cheers

    Genuine Nissan Parts

I'll get full prices (inc delivery to AU) for all the most commonly replaced rubber bits for all R-series Skylines, S12/13/14 Silvias etc soon and post them up on the TKO-K's Garage site. Theres a few things I have to sort out first, but if you desperately need the window seals, shoot us a PM with your order and I can sort it out for you.
  5. As you can imagine theres no 'give' in the tires whatsoever, so the already stiff Tein HR's are now complimented by rock solid 19" boots... I wouldn't like to use this wheel/tire combo on anything but city streets. But my brother and I got these specifically for demo-car duties outside our shop, so they'll probably get changed for some proper 18" lightweight rims later on this year when we start to get into some track work.
  6. Here are pics with the S13's suspension almost done. I say almost because it's still not sitting the way I want it... long story but I assure you it will be perfect at the end of next month. It looks better than when I bought it at least... IMO perfect offset... you've *got to* be able to read the tire size and brand from this angle... if you can't, then take it home to mamma  Prolly the best shot. It will go into the paint shop on Monday, so these are the last pics of the S13 in it's white colorscheme. After that, theres probably a months worth of tidying up and detail work with alot of carbon fibre and other secret stuff...
  7. Haha... no, but pretty close to? It's not my place to say on here, so drop us a PM.
  8. I couldn't help but chuckle... silver gts-t's GT-R bumper seems to fit ok on his HCR!!
  9. Yes it will. You'll need an adapter to fit the stock RB25 throttle body though.
  10. Just go to your bank (ANZ whatever) and do an international bank transfer in Yen... simple. It'll cost around $30 to do. I've heard Works Auto accessories are in alot of trouble.
  11. Steve: Kazama is just how it looks, but there are no 'elongated' syllables, so it's "Kah-zah-mah" with all syllables of equal length. English speakers generally elongate the middle syllable and say "Kah-zaaaaaaaah-ma" which sounds really miss-pronounced to Japanese people. In the same way alot of people say "Owe-SAAAAAA-kah" instead of the proper "Oor-sah-kah" (Osaka). But correct pronunciation of Japanese words and names isn't something that we as Aussies are expected to know, and actually mispronouncing Japanese words sounds really cute and funny to them... so fellas start speaking bad Japanese to the J-girls And remember:
  12. Really??? Can't see the resemblance myself... just looks like an overdone locally produced kit to me
  13. I love FC's but I would never, ever pay that much for one, unless it was an ex-RE Amemiya or Tamon Design demo car
  14. Yep Richards right. It says in the English version of the site: "By inducing engine misfire under deacceleration, boost pressure is maintained ..." It's a proper subcomputer that connects to your standard ECU.
  15. My point was, it was weird that this older caucasian guy (in his 50's) says to me that people say "Ohayo" when they meet someone for the first time ever. Thats what struck me as strange - he could've easily been mistaken, but at the same time, maybe it's what older people did back in the 60's or 70's as some kind of cool thing to do... maybe it *was* used alot in that situation. I can't say thats what people my age (30) do now. I was not referring to saying it at different times during the day like monk suggested. In my experience, I would lean towards what momo said in that regard, I had similar discussions.
  16. No, he sometimes lurks around here
  17. イケダさん!このシールについて、どういう意味か、あなたの意見を教えてください。 Hopefully he'll see this thread... My moneys on: "Bollocks".
  18. Sorry to butt in ( thanks for the relpies so far ) just wanted to say congrats Andrew I didn't know you got engaged...

Have you gotten prices from Nissan AU yet? If so, how much? I'm very curious about this...
  20. KBNR32: Mate I said this in the 1st post:
  21. Whats everyone going on about? Reserved stickers? Don't sell them (anymore)? - Nismo sell official Nismo stripes, and all the nismo logos off their site. Originally I could only find them for the K12 March (too short for an R32) but since found them for the ElGrand (bloody long), 350Z etc (also too short). - They don't actually sell a 'stripe kit' for the R32 or R34 as far as I know, even though they were at the Nismo festival with such stripes. But - as I mentioned earlier - you can get the ElGrand genuine Nismo stripes and cut them down to fit the R32 GT-R... thats what I would do anyway. - As Circusmonkey mentioned, you could probably have them reproduced fairly cheaply in vinyl, but for those wanting the real deal, Nismo have them. Got $$$ to spend on stripes? Then go for it. Personally what Funkymoney said is showing real support.

    Genuine Nissan Parts

I can get prices for genuine Nissan parts from Japan no problems, and for the stuff I've already bought from there (windscreen rubbers, engine firewall grommets and clips, washer bottles etc) the prices are about half what Nissan AU want... LOL. *But*, freight is going to be the killer here, so I would try and source a used genuine front bumper and lip/grille locally first before getting them new from Japan. Our container is leaving within the next month, but its going to Perth. Where abouts are you?
