That might have been privacy glass option, not tint. if u have privacy glass from japan its not illegal coz its the actual glass not a tint.

Terry does make a good point. Im 21 and even though some of those points arent as applicable to me, it makes sense. If you're scraping by every week to pay the bills then I would not suggest getting a skyline. Better off buying something more reliable and cheaper like a corolla...not have to worry and spend as much. Coz once you start you cant stop

After reading through these 16 pages, im still confused. lol All I've gathered is that changing the o2 sensor has improved the fuel economy of most vehicles. Could someone be nice and just help me answer 2 questions? 1. Which o2 sensor do i get for the r34GTT? (I dont mind paying a bit more for a 'better' one, i dont want to cut wires or whatever, coz im unco ass)[also like whats the difference between NTK/NISSAN/the faclon ones, generic etc??] 2. and where do i get one in Sydney? (is there a member here who does this kinda stuff in sydney or even the hills area?) apologies in advanced for my nubness. feel free to PM as to clog up this thread. =) thanks

Most good mechanics will be able to give you a estimate of how many KMs a car has done just by looking at general points and comparing it with the vehicles age. There would be a noticeable difference between 50k kms, and 100k kms.

Well at the end of the day a 86 is a 20 year old corolla. Its become a cult car for the wrong reasons. Dont get me wrong, I love that car and its a good car but alot of people just see it as the 'inital d tofu car' therefore it must be good, no matter what. which is almost as bad as the honda fanboy racer love for the D2CR. lol vtec kicked in yo'. Maybe I've just seen too many n00bs with a 86 and the tofu sticker down the side of their car... end rant/=)

90% of ae86's are stupidly expensive now thanks to a certain anime. Goddamn fecking kids, gets me so angry everytime i look them up on carsales. goddamn want like 20k for a 86. its freakin 20 years old and i dont care that its "special" coz its been on a anime. even s13's are getting rarer to find in that price range. everyone wants a cheap drift pig... its kinda wierd i seem to see R33's near that price range now. maybe around 9k...

Im sure if you looked around a bit more the eastbear kit wouldnt be so expensive. I got quoted about $3500 all up for paint and install as well. However this was off a friend, but nonetheless, the kit itself should cost around $2500 or thereabouts through most places. Powerplay imports do them, although they might be a bit pricier, and also havent heard good stories about interstate customer communication. however they are a reputable company. I would recommend the east bear kit as it is one of the few kits around that dont make your 34 look cheap and tacky.

IMO, If the car didnt leave the factory a GTR (or whatever car) it will never be a GTR. I dont care if you have RB26DETT, fact is, it never will be a true GTR, it will be a GTST with a very nice engine conversion. Not to say that doesnt warrant your car to be a good car. I just dont agree with pretending to be something its not. If its a normal gtst or whatever, just be happy with what it is and dont make it something its obviously not. With that said, I just find it lame but wouldnt go verbally harassing someone over it. If they choose to then its their choice and should be prepared for negative comments from others. Honestly, just be proud of the car that you already have and instead of spending money on badges, spend it something worthwhile and it'll get the respect it deserves. end rant/

oh wow, so many bad reviews of 3. I've been on 3 for abt 2-3 years now. sometime ago had a connection problem, but other than that, not much drama... although the connection problem did piss me off... actually come to think about it... .... they do suck... bastards...no one helped me with my connection problem or my handset problem... argh.

Sorry forgot to mention, its for a coupe. 2 door.
