+1 Group entries are just that: applications entered as a group for a club display. On that note, Lex, if you're reading this, I made Cara aware that you've put your form in to enter the show. However, I am not aware if you informing me of this was a simple courtesy to let Cara know you're in the show individually, or if you intended to be in the club display also. I took it simply as courtesy to let Cara know you'd be in attendance. If you are intending to be part of the club display, can you let Cara (or myself) know so the proper preparations can be made sooner rather than later. This of course applies to everyone else, as per Cara's post above. If you want to be in the club display and your form did not go to Cara for the group entry, please advise Cara asap.

Calling all taxis! Tangles is unable to assist driving me from Glen Osmond Road, Eastwood to Ministry of Bass, St Marys ... can anyone else assist at such short, short notice? Would like to be there by 4.30pm, so pick up from Eastwood would be appreciated. No probs if no takers, I'll catch a cab. I've got a potential buyer for the silver Stagea turning up about 6pm tonight, so I may or may not be delayed. I will bring with me more forms for the Kadina show and membership forms (and cards) for SAU SA.

I've been done about 7 or 8 times for 0-15 over the limit. Worse one was 72 in a 60 ... uphill and trying to overtake a learner. Just bad luck. Also got done for ... wait for it ..... 83 in an 80 zone in country Victoria. They're anal I tell ya! 8 fines in over 20 years of driving. I'm a very minor offender. Never lost licence ... never came close. All fines are 2+ years apart. And thats in cars. On my bikes, I've never been caught for anything ... anything! I'm more sharp eyed and alert when I'm riding thats for sure.

I don't disagree that something should be done about "organised crime", but creating new laws and then going after the bikie members with bugger all criminal history isn't going to work. Hell, John Koutsantonis has a bigger record than this Finks member being banned. And suddenly the government has FOI immunity from people checking out their history? But they'll happily label bikies. I know a few bikies myself ... and the only thing they're remotely doing illegally is having an attitude. Violence? I see more of that in the nightclub districts (for which I worked in for 4 years). But when someone with an "affiliation" with a club is involved, it makes headline news. The Government created part of the problem in the first place, by making it illegal/hard for bikies to own legitimate businesses such as nighclubs etc. So when you take away the honest income, they're going to go for the dishonest income. I don't have a solution ... I'm just saying the government are not helping the problem. And if I did have a solution, it would not be to cater for my personal agenda ... which can't be said for Mr Rann.

Rest assured, this is one of the first items on our to-do list. We will lodge the forms and fee asap, but the rest is up to CAMS to process the paperwork. When it is all ready, I will submit and also email a PDF copy and ask for a timeframe on the processing of our licence.

Just think of the money you'll save and get back, once the missus loses her licence ... one less car to rego, insure, pay for fuel, service etc.
