  1. Dude, I have the answer: we're all f**ked.
  2. You forgot kevlar. I wear kevlar reinforced Draggin Jeans (minimum) Push bikers wear shorts/spandex Motorcyclists (bikers) wear leather/denim 'Squids' (wannabe bikers) wear shorts/tshirts Scooter riders (refer 'Squids' above) Bikies wear whatever the f**k they want ... you got a problem with that?
  3. I suck at the internet!
  4. Got a rego number. I live in the area. Will keep an eye peeled. Welcome back tim.
  5. Simple answer: its my car ... and as long as I'm not having sex with it, its legal. I like the theme of 'black and blue'. Suspension is anodised blue, calipers going on are blue and detailing in the engine bay is blue. So ... Blue mesh is not permanent. If I get bored with it, I can always replace it. Until then ... I like the blue Positive or negative, people have taken note of my car. Beats having a rust bucket or EPA offender. Not really. Bikers can be just as picky ... only we'll behonest to your face and not over the internet. And at the end of the day, we still respect each other's ride. We gave Nathan crap for his 2500, but we still say its good he's out riding and its his bike, not ours. For instance, some of the guys do not like my Rizla replica theme on my TLR, but I love it and others love it. You either like it or you hate it. My heart is more into bikes than cars, I admit that. I'd be carless before I'm bikeless. But I still love cars and making it "mine". Its the same with my Stagea. You either like it or you hate it. But at the end of the day, its my car, I pay rego and put fuel in it. The haters can at least still respect the car. As I've said before, I try real hard to refrain from bagging other people's cars, unless they're blatantly crap (like Dragon) or dangerous ... so to be picked on for blue mesh really is trivial
  6. This thread is for the discussion of funny moments where you've had to assist a breakdown or similar, only to find a funny outcome. Or if you've been in a funny breakdown moment yourself where the only repair required was commonsense. For instance ... One time I was watching two guys on my street trying to push a car off a car trailer. They'd taken the car out of gear, handbrake off, and it still wouldn't budge. They had it jacked up at the tow bar to incline the trailer, still wouldn't move. I could not bear to watch them any further, so I walked over and unhitched the car from the cable. Suddenly the job was easier. Another one, years ago, I was at a party and a female friend comes in complaining her battery was flat because her car wouldn't start. Punchline was that she had the car in "drive" whilst trying to start it. Anyone else wasted their time helping out a stranded driver?
  7. Car in "drive" ... yep I've encountered that a few times too from people who have no clue! The better one was a neighbour who couldn't get his car off a trailer. Him and his mate are pushing and pushing to get it off. I couldn't stand it anymore, walked over and started winding back the hitch and cable on the trailer. Yep, it was still hoooked up.
  8. And how do I do that? I could prob find out if I tinkered with it myself, but I'm at work with limited time. Oh, and in case you were not told, Nismoid will sort out our SAU SA members only forum in a week or so. Yeah the idea got shot down a few times ... but this time Kell and I put on our bullet-proof vests and ran with it. I've stepped on a few toes to make it happen, but you can't keep everyone happy all the time. And there's only so much you can do to encourage support for the club. There's been alot of support ... more so now that people have now realised that it is a reality. SAU SA becomes official this weekend with the election of the Executive Committee.
  9. Looks good Rodney. Keeping it polished like I am? My last fmic was lightly sprayed satin black to keep it discreet. But this time I've gone for the polished look ... and blue mesh Next big mod for me is the manual conversion for the car. Shopping around for GTR gearboxes now.
  10. ... okay ...
  11. Don't make a BADASS rep come down there and sort you out
  12. As stated last week, I had the copies of the entry forms as passed on by Cara.
  13. Because I also do drafting as well as being the manager I'm multi-skilled ... I even have my own successful business blinging cars with anodised blue mesh But each party needs an opposition. I propose my own party to keep POOFs in line. Bringer of Attitude Dept of Australia's Secret Service ... otherwise known as BADASS. We need BADASS to control the POOFs. I think I'll get more members than you
  14. Yeah ... too good looking and too fast for a Ford. Even the blue mesh is too blue for Ford
  15. No. We've all seen what happened when motorists actually stopped breaking the law and revenue from speed cameras declined ... the lowered speed limits in areas to 50kph and instantly placed cameras in those areas!
  16. Is it safe to come back? When to get the Brutale out today to ride to work. Flat battery. I think I'm gunna need a new one. Still charging it up tho for a ride tonight. Thank God I'm just a measly bookkeeper Even at my age, I can still pick up and not get slapped across the face.
  17. RubyRS4

    Help !

I figured it was something along the lines of "dampening" any vibes from an incorrect wheel balance. Especially for higher speed driving.
  18. And THAT my friends is the internet
  19. RubyRS4

    Help !

Steven, out of curiousity ... and purely because I haven't a clue ... what are the weights in the steering wheel for?
  20. RubyRS4

    Help !

For once, I agree with Steve. Disconnect it and go see an auto sparky ... or check it out yourself if you know how.
  21. Because you're "easy" to get along with
  22. Crap! I missed it. Had to pick up the lad from his friend's house last night. Got home and went straight to finishing off a project.
  23. He's got you there Dan.
