Was good to catch up with Paul again. Been quite a few years. Sorry I had to bail early ... had a big weekend, getting up early and fixing up my house for sale, and fitting the new 'cooler to the Stagea!
-
Me? That would've been me trying to get across Glen Osmond Road. So I broke it up with a u turn. Damn near sideswiped a bus the day before trying to cross GO Road. No wave for you then if you were in the fag mobile Prob wouldn't have heard you anyway with Linkin Park/Rammstein blasting away

AJD? Didn't know that was your car. I would've said hi otherwise. I think I misquoted. Mine might also be 76mm thick. Originally got that size to fill the Dayz bar. But now I have the typeM bar, I needed a bigger cooler to fill it ... so I got a Cooling Pro item Adrian, check your measurements and allow a further 150mm for the end tanks etc on top of the 450mm. If it suits you, I'd be after $120 for the cooler ... its lightly sprayed in satin black btw.

What? You planning to 'nudge' me? If things go the way I think they will ... I might need heavy tint sunnies and lotsa Red Bull

*takes bait* I'm in! One double for me and the missus thanks Preiss. [missus = Tracy. Not you Cara ... sorry love]

PM sent. Don't put me near Cara ... she snores! And she has annoying habit of dry humping in her sleep

Reminds me of a time I saw a biker at the BP. Motorcycles are to be topped up with oil in an upright position, not on its side stand. This one guy was convinced the level was to be maintained on its side stand and he had not overfilled it. It was a brand new bike and he said the dealer's mechanic didn't fill it up enough. Of course, his 2 years riding experience bettered my 20 years riding experience and an experienced bike mechanic, so obviously he was right He killed the bike after 1200kms

I'm sure they are. Nomination form has 6 positions, not 4 (like the old ones).

Depends on how bad the dent is, and if its affected/restricted the oil pickup. ... oh, and obviously, that its not leaking!

Wrx Driver Kills Person Travelling In The Other Direction

Yeah good one, let's blame the victim/dead. Regardless of what Rhys believes, the Toyota driver was not showing a lack of due care. An error in judgement because a hoon in another vehicle was speeding excessively does not equal lack of due care. What about the due care of not drag racing in the first place? What about the due care of observing what is in front of you? (not looking at the car next to you whilst hooning) What about the due care for allowing enough stopping distance in the event of an emergency? And on and on, and so forth. We've all been there. So consider the poor driver: night time, company in the car, a conversation, general observation in traffic, feeling tired from a full day, look both ways ... cars not in the immedaite area, execute your turn, "Hang on where did those cars come fro..." BANG! People should stop blaming other persons for the most obvious lack of due care made by the biggest hoons! I'm certain the Toyota driver is further down the list of persons at fault. Wake up. What about the driver that ran? I say throw the book at the prick. Just because he didn't crash, doesn't make him any less accountable! -
Wow ... I just landed an awesome job at work! (sense the sarcasm?) Create a directory on our intranet and transfer 10 years worth of Development Plan CDs onto it. 12 CDs per year x 10 years = over 100 CDs (some months had no Development Plan editions) @ over 500MB per CD of info = massive headache. Some of the CDs are beyond their shelf life and not reading properly for the transfer. Oh goody!

Wrx Driver Kills Person Travelling In The Other Direction

Unfortunately, no one plans to kill Vu (well, not the sane ones anyway) ... but the second he chose to drag race and put everyone in a dangerous game, that's when he became liable for the outcome. The toyota driver didn't have a chance. Most drivers take a quick glance to measure the distance between their car and yours, not the speed between your car and theirs. The toyota driver was correct in assuming the wrx were doing the speed limit ... because its illegal not to. Even a little over would have been expected ... but not 150kph! This is exactly how a close friend of mine was killed on Days Road many years ago. She never had a chance. A stupid reckless driver (on bail for murder I might add) slammed into her car killing her instantly and forever disabling another good friend. She never had a chance against a hoon. -
My first phone was a Nokia 3310 What rubbish that was ... but it survived a 10m fall

Yeah, but admittedly they haven't been around long enough to have a measured effect yet. We also can't believe the data given by the govt or media. And there is always that aged old attitude of "won't happen to me" from the hoons anyway. Seeing as the community blames the lack of drag strip for the hoons ... I'll blame the previous Road Safety Minister's driving record for the increase in hoons drag racing. -
That about sums it up. BTW got my Cooling Pro delta fin intercooler this week. Fill that big mouth in the front bar now I'll stick my current Cooling Pro fmic on the silver Stagea. Also planning that manual conversion for the black stagea in the next few months ... then track time!

Yep road toll is 49 now ... compared to 33 this time last year! Those cameras sure are reducing the road toll. -

Wanna bet? Start by restricting inexperienced drivers getting behind the wheel of high powered cars. They do it to motorcyclists, why not car drivers? Low performance drivers + high performance cars = FAIL and/or DEATH We can forget that crap argument about even a datto 1200 can cause death by speed. Its the power of cars like the WRX that can get an inexperienced driver into the danger zone faster and quicker than an NA 1.8lt 4 cylinder Astra for example. -
But I am 14 I put my car in shows and I expect criticism (and hatred for the "volvo") ... part and parcel of the whole deal. Its my car, not theirs at the end of the day. I refrain from bagging other people's cars, unless its warranted. But they were getting personal (by nit-picking the stag) based on my status here on SAU and what I've done here. A nice time for them to inflate themselves and feel good for a few posts on NS I'd normally give it back at em for shits and giggles, seeing as I go to NS to point out their stupidity for fun. But its the usual suspects that dribble on a bit here on SAU also, so I left it at that. We all know the score.

Thanks for taking my money!!!

Do I have your email addy Dohmar? The forms have been updated, so I'd like to get you the 'fresh' ones. Lodging the old forms won't hurt in any case if you've already completed them ... as some guys have already done so.
