I've already discussed with a few who I want to vote for. If you want to know which way I'm voting for ideas, from one paid member to another, then PM me to discuss. As I mentioned before, PM and contact them and discuss it with them. Let them know you want to nominate them and see how available and interested they are. Committee members voted in will also need to be paid members, so they should be aware of that also (which is kinda obvious anyway). Been giving some thought into the membership numbers ... will need to bounce this off Vu who is doing the cards. But for the moment, my thinking is leaning towards people selecting numbers freely from the 1-100 range. So first in to pay up and submit membership forms will get a desired number, if available. A bit like the Transport SA custom plates process. You're a paid up member now Damo ... Nice contribution there Nugzy Mel, keep hounding them. Chances are, they are not meeting to discuss you. I've heard bullshit like that before. Delay tactics. Tell them you want a copy of the minutes arising from that meeting. If they can't provide, then it never happened. Threaten to get in contact with HIA and see if that rattles their cage. Your first step to preparing yourself "for combat" is always to be aware of who it is you'd need to complain to in the event of a dispute. In this case, I believe HIA are the people. Call them and just briefly tell your story and what they think you should do. No action needs to be taken now, but they could prob guide you to get better results. I deal with builders, developers, brokers, agents on a regular basis, and they're as trustworthy as a car salesman. I'm in the middle of taking action against my Broker for not following specific instructions on how I wanted my property portfolio structured ... they've come to the table panicking because I've been armed with good advice from the COS, and I know the rules involved. Get yourself armed with good reliable info.

After this weekend, there is the meet/nominations to be held on Sunday 24th May @ 1pm at Ministry of Bass (two weeks after this weekend's meet/bbq). Anybody can join up and submit their nominations anytime before this date. Just PM me with your email addy and I'll send the forms out. Pay your membership fee and submit your vote. Votes after the 24th May will not be counted.

I've already done all that. I've done quite a bit in my lifetime already... and got the scars to prove it. I only have two goals left in my lifetime. I had always set myself up to semi-retire at the age of 45-50. Thats about 10-15 years away now. Have a house up the River and own and run a small fleet of houseboats as a semi-retiree, while I do some consulting for the Renmark/Mildura areas. Thats what I'm working towards now. I still want to enjoy life at a half-working capacity. I've still got plenty of time for my toys until then

I'm far from rich man. I just get a generous salary and manage my money well. I'm more asset rich than cash rich. Hence the reason to sell up. I'd love to keep the house, but I have another investment I am interested in with far greater returns and something I can retire comfortably with. Gotta start planning for the future fellas

Well, Tracy and I discussed selling one of our properties today. We just want more freedom and now is the time to sell. Anybody want a 3 bedroom house in the Mansfield Park area for $340K? We're going to keep our other property ... its a much larger property. Now we have more freedom to do what we want with the extension. About to get onto the bank and a real estate agent.
