  1. Krishy, you're parking was so crap, it hid my Stag from being photographed To all, thanks for your attendance, once again. I'm knee deep in a project which needs to be completed by Monday night and a second project by Tuesday night ... but will endeavour to get onto the bookeeping of the funds raised and memberships lodged early-mid this week. I will forward you all a copy of the spreadsheet as well as some minutes of the day by mid-late week. I have also had a reply from Funkymonkey regarding getting an SAU SA Members only forum started this week. Once its up, I'll advise Funkymonkey (and/or Sled who reckons he can manage it) the names of paid members, and away we go!
  2. Welcome aboard. Mighty fine (familiar) 32 you have there
  3. No problems Dohmar. The BBQ fundraiser went well. No rain and more attendees than our last. We also raised more funds, mostly from the collection of membership fees. We now have 10 members for SAU SA. I will put all this thru the bookkeeping and throw together the minutes from this meet, PDF it and email to all persons who attended and threw money at this Please PM me your email addy if I do not have it already (Writeoff, mrRS4 and whomever else). I am still taking membership forms. I am now collecting committee nominee forms and they are due on Sunday 24th in a fortnight's time. A big thanks to Simon from Ministry of Bass for the use of his premises. Simon could not stay for the meeting, because his missus has gone into labour. We all wish Simon the best. Will catch up with you this week Simon. I'm off to a party tonight, so my apologies for the quickie, and if I've missed anything.
  4. Far as I know, just need to drop the front shafts. No fuse to pull like the skylines. Got talking with some SAUers and other Stag owners last night. Trying to determine what detail makes my "Nismo" edition stagea different from the others ... found quite a few differences. Better list them.

  6. I might come to see you guys at Willall sometime soon. Wanna get the Stagea tuned and you guys are the closest to me. I know little about your shop and facilities, never been there. You guys got a AWD dyno? I would assume so, stupid question, but had to ask. Oh, and are you guys open weekends? Any idea on a tune to a Stag with stock ecu, no ecu plug ins? Need chip. PM me to discuss if need be.
  7. Damn dude. I was shopping for a cooler earlier this week. Ended up getting a Cooling Pro delta fin 600x300x70 This should sell quick
  8. Morning! Aww ... diddums!
  9. Done it many times before ... but normally I'm on one of my bikes when I do it. Usually get the show offs on the 250s acting like twats and taking stupid risks. I usually grab their helmet by the chin guard as I remove their keys, so they can't see me doing it. Then toss them away. Trust me ... I'm doing them a favour. I was in the stag when I saw this fool. Guaranteed he wouldn't have insurance. Hit the back of my stag and I'll be pissed. Figured it was appropriate to continue with my "rider safety awareness" and toss the keys. Give him something to think about while he looks for them. Said something like: "Are you f**king stupid. You can't ride, so get the f**k off the road." (toss the leys)
  10. Hoorah to the cock on the scooter at lunchtime today riding down Greenhill Road. Dude's got a death wish. Watched him changed lanes from the RH lane to the centre lane over the top of a car!!! Using his shitty 60kg scooter to hustle a 1500kg car! Madness. Car had to brake and even missed him by inches. Then he changes lanes to the LH lane behind me and tailgates me for 200m to Unley Road intersection. I tapped my brakes beforehand, he grabbed a handful of brakes, then curses me for giving him a friendly warning to back off. When I stopped at the lights, I got out and while he's shitting himself, I removed his keys and tossed them in the parklands. Told the dumb f**k to commit suicide elsewhere. f**k I hate scooter riders
  11. I almost thought she was going to say her photographic gear got stolen ... that would really suck.
  12. Scum ... kill em all!
  13. Thankfully my ex-wife and I were civil about splitting the house. She's since moved on and bought another house, and I've got 2 My repayments are $4034 per month! But I'm selling one property at the moment in the $330-$350K bracket ... and its expected to be nabbed in the first 2 weeks! Drinking mate of mine is an economist and lectures at Uni ... I was a student of his for 2 years. The demand for a 3 bedroom home in the $315-$360K bracket is high and not enough supply. In my area alone, there are only 2 houses on the market!!! I'd love the upper end of $350K for it (which is likely) as there is only a debt of $195K on it. Those funds will be re-invested and be a very nice retirement for me and Tracy. Once the house sells, our repayments come down to $1,776 per month ... but I'll continue to pay $2421, and have it paid off in 13 years ... not 29. Its liek the stock market. Gotta know when to buy and when to sell. Its worked well for me. But right now I want something simpler and more money to play with. There is another investment opportunity I want to get involved in which has higher returns. Getting an ABN and registering my business shortly, and will run the management for my investment portfolio under the business, grow it and get some tax benefits. I plan to retire at 50 ... not 65. I wanna enjoy life a bit more.
  14. If you don't buy you're own, you gotta rent off someone else. My repayments on my investment property are $120 per month more than the income I get from rent ... so thats not selfish. I charge rent at the market rate, not at the rate of my mortgage. You need to be in the property game to understand it dude.

    Jokes!

    I'm not offended by that
  16. Shall we change the title to "Gay cars spotted thread"?
  17. Yeah, I reckon its been stolen and thrashed. Park it in your garage and I'll come over and rip the 13B out of it.
  18. Yes. Starting small and playing the real estate market got me to where I am now. Build new, sell and walk into bank with a clear $100K deposit for another home ... they won't say 'no'. I enjoyed the smell of a new home ... but extra money always gets spent anyway, on landscaping, garage, interior etc. The first 6 months in my new home, I ripped up the carpets and put in timber flooring, repainted the walls. In the end, its just the same as renovating a 1960s home. I prefer large spaces nowdays. My needs and wants have changed over the years. Just like I'm selling one of our houses, because its a struggle to manage. We have property worth over $750K combined. Its not the money, its just hard to work fulltime, study parttime in the evenings, do the extension to one house, whilst managing the property of another. I want things simpler at the moment. I can always buy another house when I'm ready. We've got equity worth over $200,000 already ... but can't do anything with it as we've exceeded our borrowing power.
  19. I much prefer older homes on bigger blocks ... but I had built with Devine and I had NO issues with them whatsoever. I do recommend them if you want to build, rather than buy already established. I got scared off building again this time round. Land in the area I live in starts at $200K for 318m2 avg ... when I purchased my fully renovated established home for $340K on a 813m2 block! Plus I got my 323m2 block 7 years ago for $43,500 in Sheidow Park!!! The land was worth 5 times that in 5 years! Do the maths. Good for me for selling, but bad for buying again. Currently putting our 7yo Ferryden Park home on the market. Cost $165K to build inc land. Selling around the $340-350K mark. I've got the house I want now for the next 15 years ... with big pool, extension (5 bedrooms total) and a double garage to come.
  20. Well its settled then. My brother works at Coventry Fasteners The northies are softer now. I went thru high school and grew up quite a bit there over the last 20 years. It was more rough then. Now its a bit more "polished turd". I vote for old homes on large blocks. My current house is situated on a 813m2 block. Compared to my first home 323m2 and our current new home we are selling with 334m2. Don't like gardening, let the vegetation die ... simple. My last 2 places were small and cramped, and bugger all options to erect garages and sheds Now I have my 1960s home on a massive block. I've installed a large pool and currently working on my 102m2 house extension, and I still have nearly 200m2 of back yard!!! Next is my double garage. Large blocks ftmfw!
  21. Where is a good place to look for R33 caliper bolts? I'm scared the dealership will rape me I don't think wreckers would part with the bolts from the calipers would they?
  22. "NOTATOY" Its not a car either. My eyes still hurt from the interior. Big fail for the front mesh which still doesn't hide too well the absence of a fmic. Some cashed up teen will go for it tho
  23. Oh ... deer! The repairs are going to be ... deer!
  24. Need front caliper bolts for an R33. PM me.
  25. Looks more like a dog
