Yeah, it was a long day yesterday and I still didn't get around to saying hi to a few people ... including you Too many distractions. Luke, you wanna PM me an email address for yourself and I'll send you a PDF copy of things. Nathan, you were another I spotted yesterday but didn't get around to saying 'hi'. This should be the final post I'll make in this thread, as a fresh one has been started to advise how the club is going. Namely: The next meeting is scheduled for the Sunday 10th May @ 1pm and is most likely to be held at the Ministry of Bass premises (to be confirmed), where the ins and outs of the club will be discussed again and people have another chance to voice their constructive comments/input. On the Sunday 24th May @ 1pm (Ministry of Bass premises to be confirmed) paid members will then vote for Executive Committee members. The interim committee will go thru the results thereafter and the highest voted positions will be notified to the nominees. Once the committee is in place, we can put names to documents and get paperwork submitted. So there are two more chances for people to attend and have a say and join, as well as the fact that Kellie and I have offered and received enquiries via PM, MSN and mobile, as well as the chance to speak to me yesterday at AJD which many people did. The non-believers have had their chances and have further chances to talk to me about this, but have chosen not to. SAU SA is becoming a reality now ... and about bloody time!

Yep, boobs are good. Sorry if I didn't reply Normsta. I have been busy. My PM box got full and had to empty ... twice. I endeavored to get back to everyone, but may have missed your PM. My apologies. PM me again. I'm answering a few more PMs tomorrow when I can access some files. -

Sau Sa Club Kickstart Fundraiser Saturday (tomorrow)
RubyRS4 replied to RubyRS4's topic in South Australia
I was at AJD today and had quite a few people come up and ask about the status of the SAU SA club. Seems many people want SAU SA to get off the ground. Right ... firstly, the bbq fundraiser, despite the appalling weather, had a great turn out and generous donations were made. Thank you again Kellie for hosting the BBQ ... and thanks for ensuring the gazzebo didn't blow away in the wind so early in the morning whilst tackling it in your pink pajamas A list of the donors and their contribution has been recorded and I will attend to the formal bookkeeping of this using MYOB tomorrow. I will PDF a copy of the transactions/donations for those present at the bbq (I have your names) so you are aware the funds have gone into the SAU SA piggy bank! I will also throw together some brief minutes of the bbq meet and what was discussed and PDF that also to those present at yesterday's meeting. As indicated to all those who attended, Kellie and I have been contacted by a fair few businesses with an interest in seeing SAU SA up and running. We've been told "its about time". Given the response this weekend ... SAU SA Club is happening The steps from hereon is: In two weeks time, Sunday 10th May @ 1pm (to be confirmed), there will be another meeting/bbq/fundraiser at a venue yet to be confirmed. But at this stage I am approaching Simon to take up his offer to use the Ministry of Bass premises. At this meeting, copies of the Constitution, membership forms, and Committee nominee forms will again be available for collection. Two weeks after that meet, Sunday 24th May @ 1pm (to be confirmed), there will be a meet (venue to be advised) whereby the Committee nominees will be presented and a vote by paid members made for who they feel best to fill the four positions on the Committee. Therefore, members have 4 weeks to decide who they would nominate and vote for. I, for one, will be speaking with certain members over the next few weeks to inform them I would like them to be on the Committee, and why, and will cast my vote their way if they are interested and have the time. Once the Committee is elected, we will have names of the President and Treasurer to go on record to lodge our CAMS affiliation forms, bank account forms, PO box forms etc. I have the forms ready and waiting, but we first need to elect committee members before we can proceed any further. Once the Committee is elected in some 4 weeks time, we lodge all paperwork to make things all official and SAU SA is born! I can email a PDF copy of the Constitution, membership form, and committee nominee form to anyone interested. Please PM me. To those who have recently PMed me, I will attend to you guys asap (tomorrow). Once I have attended to those various PMs and confirmed the venue with Simon, I will start a new thread for the meet in 2 weeks time. I am also in contact with Simon regarding some generous assistance he has offered the club. Well done guys and thanks for having faith. -
The weather forecast is changing to be more favorable for us. They're predicting 16 degrees and overcast now. I'll meet you guys at AJD, as I'll be heading straight there in the morning.

Sau Sa Club Kickstart Fundraiser Saturday (tomorrow)
RubyRS4 replied to RubyRS4's topic in South Australia
But not 3 threads by me. Its car related. Club related in fact. The club deserves a fresh thread, to get away from the rubbish of earlier. This is my thread giving one last heads up for the fundraiser for those who have not PMed me or Kell. My post in the Events thread is dead, and shows not many members go there. The Constitution is too large a document to be posted here. PM me your email addy and I'll email you a copy. That is detailed in the Constitution and will be discussed at tomorrow's BBQ. The club will be CAMS affiliated. There will be an exclusive SAU SA thread which only paid members can access. Events and track days (for members only under CAMS licence). Shows and cruises for members only (been talking with Auto Salon people and other event organisers). And there's a little thing up our sleeve which paid members will find most helpful (to be advised at the BBQ). I'll PM you the details of the BBQ fundraiser. Well, I'm off to Vilis now and won't be back to this thread until after the BBQ ... you have our numbers now. -
I notice a difference in driving attitude when I'm in the silver stock Stagea. Nobody is wanting a drag or trying to prove themselves. When I'm in the black Stagea, they're suddenly threatened by the presence of the Stag and want to get in front of me at any cost
-
LOL ... didn't take long for a bite I worded that one for giggles
-
Spotted a red S1 stagea with S2 tail lights heading from city up Port Road. Rego CCxxxT. Clean car from the outside.
-
I'll be there ... gotta give Chad a dump
-
Don't forget ... SAU SA club is hitting it off tomorrow with a fundraiser BBQ. Saturday 25th April (tomorrow) @ 1.00pm ... PM me or Kell for address or phone 0400320921 (Kellie) or 0449928227 (Ruby) Come talk to the organisers, grab a copy of the Constitution or get a rundown on it, and join up and help nominate Committee members.

Pity the non-AWD/4WD vehicles

You ... are ... kidding! Clearly an unroadworthy car!

Day off today ... ... to do some homework on a project today

Yeah monday it was. I'd love to wave, but needed both hands on the bar for the traffic "filtering". Had one cock near the ice arena in an old BMW see me coming between lanes and moved over to block me. Lights changed but didn't make it thru on the green. So now I've pulled up at the lights in front and he's creeping his car up my ass behind me. Was a p-plater too. I hop of bike and ask what his problem is ... no response, just cowardly silence. Back on bike and lights change. I take off normal (kinda fast ... I'm on a bike afterall) and he's thrashing his car trying to tailgate me. I flip him the bird and disappear in traffic. Some cocks just don't want to share the road
-
Yeah, forgot you like to be blown
-
When does the turbo go on it
-
They should fit. To my knowledge its from the cat back that is different. I'll bring out the dump this friday then Take a peek at the new toy too.

The lip is for a series 1 ... Not sure if I have it anymore anyways.
-
Yep. The one and only.

Congrats on the purchase. She's a beauty. I've given up trying to sell my black RS4. Been months, mine's 2K cheaper with half the kms on the clock ... but can't find a decent buyer not trying to scalp me. Now also considering parting the silver RS4. Just tired of the headache. What plans you got for it? Apart from cruising with the best breed.
