I will. I'd do it faster if SAU would allow me to PM faster than it does. Almost time to empty my inbox again

Jedi powers! "You will enter your car" "I will enter my car ... here's my money!"
-
Thats why I think she'd be a great events coordinator for SAU SA. She has a gift!
-
Well, you twisted my arm and took my form and money Can whomever it is, please confirm accommodation details at this hotel in Kadina? Cara informed me last night it was $40 for a double? edit: I'd be in for that

Yeah ... kinda dies when they have no one to argue with ... so I gave up talking to the children when I realised it was going nowhere. My stag is my stag. Compared to some imports on the road, I call it discrete ... whether they do or not. Its my car, so tough luck lads.

I'll be out to collect forms/hand out forms ... including the forms for the Kadina Show hint, hint

To all interested SAU SA members and financial (paid) members of SAU SA: A quick reminder (again ) that your nomination/voting forms will need to be received by Sunday 24th May 2009 @ 1pm at Ministry of Bass, along with your membership form and fee if you have not done so already. PM me for an email address to send the completed forms to, and bank details for your payment, if you cannot do this in person. I've had many enquiries about who to select. I can't and won't tell you who to select. PM me if you want to know who I am considering, but you must do your own "shopping around". I will advise you however now of the paid members of SAU SA and members who have lodged their form (but are yet to pay) ... Paid members: RubyRS4 (Reuben) Damo_R34 (Damien) Rodders211 (Rodney) - (I still need your form Rodney) SLED (Pete) Type_Vu (Vu) Lovemy32 (Anthony) mrRS4 (Brendan) YOUWISH (Lex) Jamesrb25 (James) Krishy (Krishneel) RBWARE (Shane) MissR34 (Cara) To come: (a little nudge for you guys) Hostile (Martin) FR33K Bunny33 (Kellie) NeneRS260 (Janene) GRIM (Ben) Sapphiregraphics (Troy) Destroy (Chad) MattyR31 (Matty) I'm sure there are others I'm forgetting. I'm at work now and have things to do, so I'll add to this when I have a clearer head. The list is not limited to those paid members above. If you have a nominee, get their approval that they'd be interested in a position and encourage them to join SAU SA. Committee Members are required to be paid members. Electing the Committee: Met briefly with a small group last night, including Shane and Martin (former SVD guys) and I've agreed with their thinking on how the first SAU SA Committee should be voted in. Namely ... Vote forms will be collected from paid members. The interim Committee will look to count the votes to fill the Secretary position first. Once the member has been notified of the position and they have accepted it, the Interim Committee will step away from the votes and hand over the authority/responsibility to the Secretary to fill the remaining Committee positions according to number of votes and best suited person for the positions. Therefore the nomination for the Secretary position is crucial. The Secretary position will not be an easy position. The Secretary is deemed pretty much the busiest person on the Committee. So whomever you vote for Secretary would need to be very much a dedicated enthusiast, be firm in their position, and have a good knowledge of other members to select the best Committee they can from the votes. Term: It has been discussed that Committee positions will be renewed/re-elected around mid January each year. Therefore, the first Executive Committee for SAU SA will be for approximately 7 months. This will help voters for the next election to get a feel for who is best suited on the Executive Committee. So ... the first SAU SA Committee have 7 months to prove themselves PM me your email address if you wish to obtain copies of the forms. Good luck. Shane/Martin, if I've missed out anything or am incorrect on anything above, please advise.

Moving it to the delete bin takes 2 seconds. I'd love to go drag racing at AIR again (sold my drag bike because of this BS), but I'm not holding my breath anymore. Bring on the new facility (fingers crossed).

Dear Dad: It is with great regret and sorrow that I'm writing you. I had to elope with my new girlfriend because I wanted to avoid a scene with Mom and you. I have been finding real passion with Stacy and she is so nice. But I knew you would not approve of her because of all her piercings, tattoos, tight motorcycle clothes and the fact that she is much older than I am. But it' s not only the passion...Dad she's pregnant. Stacy said that we will be very happy. She owns a trailer in the woods and has a stack of firewood for the whole winter. We share a dream of having many more children. Stacy has opened my eyes to the fact that marijuana doesn't really hurt anyone. We'll be growing it for ourselves and trading it with the other people that live nearby for cocaine and ecstasy. In the meantime we will pray that science will find a cure for AIDS so Stacy can get better. She deserves it. Don't worry Dad. I'm 15 and I know how to take care of myself. Someday I'm sure that we will be back to visit so that you can get to know your grandchildren. Love, Your Son John PS. Dad, none of the above is true. I'm over at Tommy's house. I Just wanted to remind you that there are worse things in life than a report card That's in my center desk drawer. Call me when it's safe to come home.

$69 from memory. Was absolutely excellent. The stamina and fitness of these guys (and girls) is amazing. And there's some excellent humour in there too. However, if you park there, the volunteers there will encourage you to pay the $12 pre-paid fee claiming its cheaper. cops arse! ... they're trying to get more $ outta you. Show goes for just under 2 hours ... so pay after and you'll pay only something like $7.50. Or park anywhere else but the Festivla Theatre. Morsell's on South Road, Mile End have done all my plastic welding. The guy is good, but can be busy at times.

I sure Adam wasn't trying to nit-pick. The market isn't in our favour at the moment, so I've given up selling my black stag. I'd rather keep it than deal with tyre kickers. However, some tips if you want to know what buyers are "kicking tyres" for: How many kms has it done? Any squeaks? Any under bonnet noises? (believe it or not, a potential buyer pulled out on me because he didn't like induction noise, wtf) Rust under mirrors? Tyre wear? (Documentation of wheel alignment helps) Any loan outstanding on it? And in the last year I have seen 2 260s purchased for under $25K, but they did come off ebay. Low-risk private sales (face-to-face) are more generous on price. Recent stageas purchased have gone for around the $19K mark with a manual stagea recently bought for $24K ... so your car is in the right ballpark with its current price Good luck ... however, I say keep it

Had this bike 8 years now. Never even thought about selling ... only modding. It sure is an awesome bike. Been thru may cosmetic looks and mods. Drag raced her, tracked her, ridden to Phillip Island and back many times, and even a few shows. 1000cc of offensive v-twin power and noise! Enough torque to rape my brutale anyday of the week. On another note ... One of my favourite places to see, but have never visited
-
Got myself a WD 1.0TB harddrive for my video surveillance at home Now I should be able to record for a full week!
-
Saw the latest Rapid mag and saw the turboed Brutale. Madness The engine has no bottom end revs to begin with ... reckon it'd be too laggy. I'm selling the Brutale now anyway. Putting the mighty TLR back on the road, and over the next couple of months customising it a bit more
-
Uh-oh! I might be working in the pits for the V8 Supercars at Phillip Island VIC around that time I'd really like to get out for the track day ... show the folks what a "volvo" can do Prob have an R32 by then

Sau Sa Club Bbq / Fundraiser / Meet / Nominations
RubyRS4 replied to RubyRS4's topic in South Australia
Well, I haven't heard back from Prank in weeks ... so I'm working with Funkymonkey for now. In the interim, [email protected] was convenient for the interim committee. Once the executive committee is voted in, we hope ot have a proper, proper email address set up. On that note, I haven't even used the hotmail address at all. Checked it mid last week and getting spam already! WTF Get involved with getting it up and running, attend meets, help out and sign up. Show some enthusiasm and people will take notice and possibly nominate you. -

RubyRS4 replied to RubyRS4's topic in South Australia
Get in touch with them. See if they're interested in joining and being on the Committee. Then vote for them. I have updated committee nomination/voting forms (for 6 positions now, not 4) which I will email to those whom's addy I have already.
